i hv a question regarding the starting duelist nodes, does the one handed weapon nodes stack with the dual wielding nodes? since i am using one handed weapons but dual wielding at the same time.

Yes
Which items can get the mod +x to x skills? i.e. Plus 2 to fire skill gems or otherwise? The spreadsheet of mods does not show this at the moment I believe?

+ to fire/lightning/cold gems occurs on all Caster weapons/shields, ie wands, daggers, elemental maces, staves, and ES shields.
+ to melee gems occurs on all other melee weapons and shields.
+ to bow gems occur on bows (I don't think quivers get them).
+ to minion gems occurs on helmets.

Would be a little moot since they don't get sockets anyways :P

A game mechanic question regarding projectile multiplier.
I wonder if the projectile dmg % is an additive multiplier to other spell multiplier.

For example, if I have 50% spell dmg, 40% elemental dmg, 30% fire dmg, 20% cold dmg and 10% projectile dmg, and I link Ice spear with cold to fire gem (40%).

Assuming my Ice spear only does 100 base damage, what's the damage after all the multipliers?

100 * (1 + 50% + 40% + 20% + 10%) = 220 (frost dmg)
With cold to fire (40%) gem, 220 * 60% = 132 frost dmg remaining
Plus new fire dmg (220 * 40%) * (1 + 40% + 30%) = 149.6 (fire dmg)
So it will do 132 frost dmg an 149.6 fire dmg?

My math is as above, but I am not good at math, please correct me if I am wrong.

Cold = 100*(1+0.5+0.4+0.2+0.1)*0.6=132
Fire = 100*(1+0.5+0.4+0.3+0.2+0.1)*0.4=100
Hi, is there any change to item rarity support gem working together with the DOT's (Poison arrow degeneration cloud for example)? I'd really love to see that for poison arrow is my main dmg.
What is the affect of party memebers / quantity on map drop rates? I've heard two different views; one that says that each party member's +50% quantity bonus applies to map drop rates, but nothing else. I've also heard that the only thing affecting map drop rate is the % quality inherent on a rolled map. Does anyone know how exactly map drop rate is affected by different types of quantity bonuses?

Party members do not give you map drop quantity bonus. You will get as many maps solo as in a party.

Now my own question: do the buff/debuff duration increase passives or the skill duration increase passives affect shock, freeze or burning when they're done using skills?
@Aelloon
The party bonus will apply to non-map item drops inside map areas, but it won't increase the number of actual map items that drop.

The only thing that affects the drop rate of map items is the item quantity modifier on the map area you are in.

Everything else works the same inside a map area as it would anywhere else.
