Do armor and other stats also reduce the damage done to energy shields?
Thank you system.

Yes, armour, damage reduction, and resistances are applied before energy shield is reduced.
The effect of monsterlevel vs. playerlevel does not seem to work that way anymore. I am still looking at numbers and trying to find head and tail in it.

So far it seems like the standard spread is 3 levels instead of 2
The formula has also changed to have a steeper decline. I still do not have enough data to reverse engineer it though.

I do not know about the extra spread yet.

Are you confusing the level difference with the "effective" level difference?

If not, what specifically are you finding to be incorrect?

I have send the data I have from several hours of runs and an explaination of how I understand them to you in a pm. If I have misunderstood something completely, please inform me there.

Regarding the experience formula, it was changed in 0.9.4a.

The band where there was no penalty (and buffered the effective level difference by) became:
3 + 1 per complete 16 levels.

and the formula changed to:

((PlayerLevel +5)^1.5) / ((PlayerLevel+5+EffectiveDifference^2.5)^1.5)

PoE forums ignore list script:

0.4: added "ignore" button. ignore list is now saved locally.
Thanks radiatoren for pointing that out, and thanks qarl for the new formula. The OP has been updated.
Does burning damage stack?

For example if you crit multiple times with a firestorm (if possible?) does it deal once the burning damage, reseting the timer with every crit or is your target burning multiple times?

I'm fairly sure it stacks the same way flasks do, eg they are applied sequentially. I could be wrong.

------

Updated the OP for 0.9.7:
- Armour/damage reduction section
- Evasion formula
- Base maximum charges
