Crit Arc build vs Iron will Arc build?

Base crit on arc is pretty low i wouldnt really say its a good investment. Just put all your investment in cast speed, lightning pen, ele/lightning/spell damage for the best results.

" Thanks for this, I'm running a Flame totem + searing bond + spell totemer in talisman HC and was just trying to figure out what to link with Searing bond. Threw inc. burning on last night but couldn't really tell if it was working lol |

Inc Burning works, empower will work... That may be it for dps? Item rarity/quantity will work. Uummm, and totem res. i think thats all.

What do u guys think about grabbing Whispers of Doom for +1 curse and running both Enfeeble and Temp Chains on Blasphemy?

" I think spending 70% of your mana on two curses would be a waste. Not sure how they expect anyone to use blasphemy at that mana reservation cost. Every Saturday = National Booze n Poe Day Última edição por Nasreth#4337 em 15 de dez. de 2015 14:31:43

The burnbeam should also count as a damage-over-time effect, so Rapid Decay would improve it at the cost of some totem longevity. Given that Rapid Decay does thoroughly, delightfully unwholesome things to Essence Drain, it should make Searing Bond more than worth its free-Totem slot.
Innervate on Arc is basically permanent Onslaught while Arcing packs. It's tremendous fun, and there are a number of other uses for the gem I'm investigating. Hard to find a slot for it these days, though. Lightning Pen and now Controlled Destruction are such massive damage boosts it’s hard to pass up on them, and you really can’t go damage-Arc without Spell Echo. If you can manage a 6L, maybe run Arc > Echo > L-Pen > CD > Iron Will > Innervate, then laugh and laugh… Heck, with the extra shock chances in the Templar start area and the Heart/Breath wheel north of Witch, the innate shock for Arc, and the shock chance innate to Innervate, you’d be approaching 50% standing shock chance for Arc without any crit needed. That is hella juicy, especially with Echo. Permashock ALL the things! Anyways. Just switched my shit-geared crit Witch over to shit-geared Iron Will Witch last night. Slightly greater tooltip DPS even with only ~240 Strength and a level 1 Iron Will, and much improved durability even with what dreg-level gear I could scrape out of my tabs (since nobody is willing to stop playing Talisman long enough to sell anything in Standard for less than exalts, damn it). ~5k tooltip, which is laughable, but the tooltip DPS doesn’t account for Doedre’s Scorn’s extra damage on triple-cursed targets or permashocking (ALL the) things. Or bounce count, for that matter. Also only level 67 so far and with absolutely miserable gear. It’s the next best thing to 5k tooltip buck-ass nekkid, and that’s without Wrath (currently experimenting with Mind Over Matter/Clear Mind as an additional defensive layer, as damage hasn’t been terribly lacking thus far). Grab a 5L and get Controlled Destruction back, rack up another couple of hundred Strength, find a scepter that doesn’t make eyes bleed with sheer awfulness, maybe switch that Saffel’s Frame over to the Witch off the Templar and set him back up for 2H Icecrashing, and grind out thirteen more levels? Could pretty easily quadruple that even without GG gear. Arc is just that awesome. Man I love that skill. EDIT: " For Arc? Not a great idea. I haven’t seen the crippling radius issues everyone else is reporting (running dual Blasphemy on my Talisman Chaos Shadow, works just fine), but for Arc, spending 70% reservation on medium-short range curses is kinda counterproductive. If you mean using it as a defensive layer, then I’d wonder why you’re defending yourself with curse auras in close and leaving yourself open for bosses and ranged attackers. If you’re going for a point-blank Arc build, Curse on Hit Herald of Thunder is pretty reliable on Arc, costs only 25% reservation instead of 70%, and also adds damage. It does not curse things until you kill your first shocked target, no, and that can be a nasty disadvantage. Thus why I will never give up my secondary Curse-on-Hit Arc. Either way, however, dual Blasphemy doesn’t make a lot of sense to me for Arc. She/Her Última edição por 1453R#7804 em 15 de dez. de 2015 14:48:39

oh sorry im kind of derailing the thread a bit, but i was referring to dual curse blasphemy for my ancestral bond totem build. i don't really have any other use for my mana pool, and it's not like this build is mana-intensive, so i figured dual defensive blasphemy might be the best option particularly as im playing HC, and my tree pathing means +1 curse is only 5 pts away anyway

" +1 curse isn't a bad idea but i think it would be better to self cast them or curse on hit than to use blasphemy. it's not like you'll be doing much else once your totems are down anyways. use your extra mana for Haste and a Purity or Vitality or something.
