Breaking down Items = Less traveling back to town

I doubt this will be added to the game. The time and hassle of going back to town to sell items is intended to force players to make decisions about which items are worth picking up to sell.

Got to ask why mechanisms which players regard as 'time and hassle' are in the game at all.

I don't want to leave everything on the floor and be poor because of it. I don't want to pick up everything and spend ages shuffling inventory and going back to town to sell it. Something in between sucks the least but it still sucks.

Get rid of the buy vendors and drop more currency items in the first place giving the same result without 'time and hassle'. I'll just worry about picking up drops I can use or trade with players.

Why does everyone assume that vending yields more currency over time than killing does? If you don't spend the time to vend (for small returns), you can spend that time killing for more drops and more chances for dropped currency.

So having a boring mechanic is okay because it is also useless?!

I like the idea i saw in older posts.

1) no ident scrolls. You can see all mods of all items in your inventory.
-So you have this "lets see if its good" feeling after you pick the item up and check your inventory.

2) pvp open market.

=
1) people will pick up only good items and get a good price for it on the pvp market.

2) no more boring ident clicks and no more boring "town sell runs".

3) people who a looting addicted, can go to the vendor with the crap, no one wants to buy on the open market

=
More Fun for all!

No, because it's an option.

This would be a huge improvement for the fun of the game. Going back to town every 10 minutes or whatever when I get a full inventory of blue items is annoying.
