When will POE update its graphics engine?

Just thinking of the long-term viability of this game.
When will POE update it's graphic engines? Surely, in 5 years or so the graphics will be outdated in comparison to other games? Will there need to be a "new" POE? fwiw: to me, graphics are meaningless. it's GAMEPLAY that counts. hell, it could be 320x200 4-colour CGA (i'm showing my age!) and i'd still have fun playing it...

Graphics is good when you downscale from higher resolutions (GEDOSATO injector), GGG should work on optimization.

Actually, I'm more interested in a 64Bit client atm.
Graphics are sufficient to me, but when you need to downscale graphics on a computer with 16GB RAM and GTX 980 TI because the game engine can't handle the available ressources appropriately, something is really wrong. :) I would instantly buy a 64-Bit Client Supporter Pack! |
