I don't know if this has been asked before, I'm sure it has. However, it doesn't seem that the bound fossil allows for maximum number of spectres to be rolled according to the wiki. What stat would be aiming for besides that?

Ah, I guess the gear for the 3.10 POB is outdated. It still shows boots with +1 maximum spectre compared to the gear on the first page.

I went ahead and took a look at your build, few suggestions.
You do not have Necromantic Aegis allocated. Since you are using Vic Shield, that needs to be turned on. You are missing out on a substantial amount of damage because of that.
I'm sure you are in the process of it, but gear typing. We stack ES with this build, so using things like sorcerer boots/gloves as base will give higher total ES than hybrid ones.
You have two granite flasks, rumi and a rare one. The armor does not stack, so stick with rumi's and swap that flask out for a different rare flask. Also you are using a diamond flask as well, we don't really ever hit, other than to proc our EE, so you could also swap that out for a different rare flask as well.
Everyone has their preferences, but after playing this build for years I can say this flask set up is my favorite.
Life cause life, hybrid cause sometimes you need mana(and extra life sometimes is nice too) in no regen maps(this flask can be avoided completely if you never run that map mod though) rumi cause amazing for block, silver for a little faster movement, quicksilver for lot faster movement.
Trust me, I hate taking melding and written in blood, but I see you skipped them for more damage output, and there is no right or wrong way on how to play the build, but if you do find yourself dying a lot, those clusters do add up quite a bit for defense. After you get your gems all up and leveled, golems melt trash mobs anyways.
You can also level your empower in your off hand and use fire pen gem for the time being to add a little more damage till your empower does something as well.
I hope you're having fun with the build, and I hope it goes without saying I'm not trying to be rude, just when I looked at your build it reminded me of when I was first running the build a few years ago and things I wish I knew then.
After playing a decent amount this league I believe there were two major nerfs to the build. I know we discussed them prior to the league, but playing with them live makes me think they are bigger than what I thought they would be.
Don't get me wrong, build still strong as heck, but here are my thoughts on the two big nerfs.
Bone Barrier
We all have different play styles, so this might not even be an issue for some, but for me it's very big. Yes, losing the 30 all res is pretty big, and I do feel it in making it harder for me to gear, but that's not my main issue with not taking this. Losing the Bone Armour skill has been very noticeable for me. Yes, the skill is still there and I could pick Bone Barrier still, but with the 30 all res gone, I can't justify it since the node has been gimped so hard. I am currently trying to find a way to fit steelskin in. I would have to drop my vaal skeletons though, so I'm waiting for better gear to try and unset ring it in.
I know I said I can not justify taking the node now, but I do sometimes think of switching. Having an extra 2K+ EHP for 50%ish of the map is huge, not to mention it takes away the need for a bleed flask. I know, have your cake and eat it too is my mentality right now, and I'll agree with that, but just wanted to point out I didn't think it would be such a nerf when I first read about it.
Raise Spectre
Before I state my opinion, my specs have a lot of space for improvement still, so maybe my opinion will change as league goes on.
That said, I'm not going to say bossing is the hardest thing in the world now, because it's not, but after playing this build for years, I can notice just how much longer it takes to kill high level bosses. Still missing 21 gem, and my boots with +1, as well a few other things I could do to improve, but it is noticeable. I think this was a little heavy handed of GGG. Specs were not the problem the last few leagues, it was zombies and skeletons. I don't think specs have really been a problem since they got ride of the old necro node Soul Weaver to honest.
TL;DR
Build still really great. Bossing is a bit harder. Defense is a bit worse.
Hey :)
I actually almost never used the Bone Barriers activated ability. I guess pressing extra button was just too much work. Losing physical reduction hurts a bit but Plaguebearer deals decent imitation of it in 10% all damage reduction. Elemental resistances can be quite easily replaced by going for Alira + Resistances nodes + Commander of Darkness first.
Specs lost 20% of total damage, but I'm still hopeful that we can find new Specs that deal equal or better damage than TVs before nerf. Goatman fire-raisers for example are pretty fun to use as I have been testing them. GGG might buff Specs after few leagues if minions keep losing players as summoners are important part of Poe.

Hey :)
I just updated both PoBs, thanks for the tip! Yep, it has been left from earlier leagues. I thought PoB would update automaticly as all mods were changed in game for all boots, but I guess not.
I would give very similar tips. You should take Necro Aegis if you use Victario's charity or you will be left out of all charge actions.
Same advice about flasks.
For gear, I would upgrade some items for Higher ES ones as you are close to endgame :
- Rings (40+ ES, 40+ HP, resistances)
- Gloves (150+ ES, 40+ HP, resistances)
- Boots (100+ ES, 40+ HP, 25% movement, [+1 spectre gem level])
You can also try getting belt with ES instead of HP at some point.
Es from gear scales well with Skin of the Loyal and it's most important source of EHP (HP + ES). Taking more HP & ES nodes from the tree would increase your survival a lot.
Sumfight game nice list about potential improvements. You can pick what you want to upgrade and after these two lists you should have pretty smooth saling to endgame. I also hope you will enjoy the build and Flame Golems!

Hey Mika, saw this on reddit, I would imagine it would be pretty useful to you.

In the post there is a link to a spreadsheet as well.
Hi :)
Looks interesting, thanks for sharing it! I need to look for fire based Specs to tests first from the list. If there are none really good one, I have to test other element types.

Thank you for the advice, I recently switched over from Necro Cyclone Cremation (hence the character name), so it's been a process of switching over gear. Focused on buying a ton of currency to respec points and some ascendancy, afterwards, the next chunk went towards the primordial stones. My gloves, boots, ring(s) and flasks were leftover from the old build as I worked on getting the gear. I do have a pair of sorcerer boots with the correct ilevel that I've been trying to fossil craft with no success at the moment.
Although, I've gone ahead and allocated Necromantic Aegis now. What would you suggest I remove to make room for melding and written in blood as I do find myself dying more often compared to my cremation build (due to improper gear/points). Personally, I opted to remove redemption and the two points that lead into Indomitable army (was going to pick it up at 89) in order to pick up written in blood. Additionally, I'm probably going to take remove righteous army and the associated points leading to it, that way, I can pick up melding too. Otherwise, I have been really enjoying the build to the point that I'm considering buying the mtx for fire golems to keep running this build in future leagues.
@mika2salo: So I've tried importing the PoB link again and it's still showing old information, such as, the boots with maximum spectres and the animate guardian with the leer mask. Maybe I'm importing the link from the incorrect section though.
Again, thank you both for helping me sort things out. I've gone ahead and already changed up my flask setup. Just need the correct prefix and suffix.

Just check your boots do have elder influence on them and are iLvl 75+ as I seem to recall that this is required now to get +1 to Spectre level boots.

Mika I am sure this was asked but where do we fit in Voices jewel with 3 more Primordials or even a Large Cluster with some solid nodes?
I'm not sure we even bother with Voices now do we? It was really good as it was first shown with just 1 passive skill point before 3 jewel sockets but from what I can tell now they come with between 5 to 7 passive skill points which don't add anything making it much less efficient than was originally presumed.
However if you do go down that route then either of the outer jewel sockets at the top of the tree would be the logical places to have them. I personally wasn't blown away by any of the newly added cluster notables for minions but if you have a few that you can roll it might be fun to see what you could get.

You might be correct. All the boots that I can find on trade with the roll are all elder influenced. However, sites like poedb and the poe wiki don't mention that it's elder exclusive.
