How this build works in terms of clear speed. compared with solar guards ?
guide need some serious updates.
shaped/elder items. golem, skeletons variations. (the lack of clearspeed)

It's only due to Wicker Man nerf. Pre-nerfed, 2x Wicker Man can deliver comparably clearspeed to SG.

I wonder if anyone tried lv84 Wicker Man with 7L elder helmet (with Burning Damage, Concentrated and Minion Damage)? It may be possible?

If you supplement the vanguard build with 3 fire golems you get comparable clear speed to last league while still being able to destroy end game bosses on a 5 link. Hell even if you supplement SG with 3 flame golems it significantly increases your clearspeed, most especially in maps with narrow corridors.

So, you suggest 3/4 solar guards? Or mix with one of the previus ones? Also with the same gems setup (the wiki suggest spellecho).

Hey, you seem to know your stuff but I can't follow your math. My understanding of resist alteration is different.

Let's take Shaper, I see how you get that 678 damage vs lvl 20 Ele Weakness:
-39% of the curse x 20% effectiveness = -7.8%
40% natural resist becomes 32.2 % and thus 1k damage becomes 678.

First question: Where is Elemental Equilibrium in that equation? Maybe I'm wrong but I'd subtract that first, so his resist after EE and EW would be 40 - 50 - 7.8 = -17.8.

About Despair, I can't get to your result. Imo it should be a 5% more multiplier given the 20% curse effectiveness.


Another math issue I don't get is the general consensus of a 5L Vis Mortis being superior to a rare 6L. Is that because you'd leave out Minion and Totem Resistance in that case? Else I wouldn't understand how a 4th minion (= 33% more damage) beats a 40+% more multiplier gem.

hey, i like the build so far. But i got two newb question:
1. why go for mistress of sacrifice instead army of darkness ?
Is it because of the block chance from bone offering ? (i kinda dont need the movement speed from flesh offering).

2. Spirit Eater: 40% incr. dmg after a corpse is consumed
Do those 40% dmg also count for minions ?

3. what are the thoughts about midnight bargain ? i know, that u cant shield charge or whirling blade, but its +1 spectre and dmg...and less life ;D
