[3.6] Zombiemancer - High Survivability - End Game Viable
" I haven't been using Multistrike, so that's why it seems like Zombies just delete everything. I need to read all that and start minmaxing the thing. Thanks. Edit: Calculations With Haste aura and three Frenzy Charges (and no Multistrike), my Zombies' attack rate is 1,44 per second. If I swap Maim out and Multistrike in it becomes 2,79. Dan_Rey's post mentions that 2,39 is already too much, so Multistrike is not recommended with other stuff that gives attack speed. People should use Path of Building and fiddle with gems/auras/charges and see which gives the most dps. Última edição por Wermine#1485 em 21 de jan de 2019 13:10:48

" Is that number including minion speed? Because if it does include minion speed, you might still be better off with multistrike: When you boss, you might want to replace minion speed with minion life and by also replacing haste with something defensive, you should get below the 2.39 threshold (something like 2.3) which would allow you to perma-slam for max dps while having better defenses thanks to the new aura and higher zombie life with the minion life gem. And against normal packs and maps, a triple slam will most likely clear everything anyway, leaving to slam the time to recharge even if its CD is higher than the period of your attacks. The only thing that really gets worse is the map bosses but those kind of gets destroyed by the build regardless. I don't think it will significantly worsen your clear or at least it might be worth testing. I've posted for confirmation of my understanding in the guide linked earlier in this thread, and now that I think I get how this probably works, I think I'm gonna go the multistrike route with a Haste gem at lvl 1/20 (this kind of fine tuning are the reason it's so important to get a clear idea of how the interaction between attack speed and slam cooldown work) That gives me an attack rate of 2.38 (without minion speed) which means 3 attacks every 1.26 seconds which would increase my dps from around 950k in my current non multistrike setup (730k for slam + 320k * chances to hit for default attack, I used 70% chances to hit as my estimate) to 1 216 000 with multistrike (so around 25% more dps and full AoE instead of partially AoE). edit: Or I can reach 2.38 by keeping multistrike at 13/20 I should then be able to use a haste 20 to get the same dmg and attack speed but with better shield charge speed. This solution might be usable for you too if choose a multistrike gem of a specific level that allows you to get just below 2.39, while the haste 1/20 wasn't good because with 1.44 attack speed you'd still have been too fast. So I don't know if it's working as intended. When I shield charge into mobs, it reduces enemy chaos resistance, rather than lightning, even though I crafted a ring with bonus lightning damage. Am I doing it wrong?
|
|
" It's supposed to reduce every resistance except lightning. It increases lightning resistance. Your zombies are doing cold (through hatred) and fire damage (through the Mon'Tregul explosion), not lightning. So yeah it should be working as intended. |

In what order would you upgrade the gems for quality to 20%?

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
the attack rate of my zombies is 2.96 and I do not know how to lower it. https://pastebin.com/vLN2z5vL How could I improve my build? Thanks |
|
" i think you need to look at the SLam Attack Speed instead of the "Default Attack" Speed of your Zombies, which is 2.31, so you should be fine. If you would go over 2.39, you can basically just switch out multistrike for ruthless/maim, dps should be about the same Edit: You only have 1 violent dead as far as i can see, so your zombies will be melee attacking anyway, as the slam cooldown is too long you also have vaal haste enabled instead of haste. vaal haste could actually push you above the limit and be a dps loss when you activate it, when you have the second VD jewel Última edição por frusel#7482 em 24 de jan de 2019 16:01:36

" haha thank you, I was wrong... What do you think could improve my construction? I know I need gloves with enefeble and another kind of spell at the helm, but is there anything else I need to change? |
|
" looks all right, the roll on your boots is pretty bad with 15%. PoB also shows 1174 strength, you really want to get that to 1200 for the 7th zombie if that is accurate. Maybe you need to switch out the shield for a while for a strength one for a while. you will gain alot of damage when your gems hit lvl 20 and when you get a lvl 4 empower eventually (about 50%) if you can't find shaper gloves with the enchant, you can also buy gloves with the enchant for your guardian or try corrupting some yourself. " Small precision, unless I'm mistaken, Zombie 21 has the same effect and is cheaper, they should start with that before empower 4. Última edição por Aesahethr#5297 em 24 de jan de 2019 17:35:21
