I don't think Inq is actually that bad, it is superior to Assassin and Sabo but both of those suck and its real OP nature comes from how easy it is to get very high crit which I think is something they will have to address again in the near future.

Inquisitor was always strong for ele/crit with his huge attack speed/cast bonuses along with crits ignoring resistances, but three things really made him very strong

1)ele damage is the most powerful type of damage to scale atm
2)crit multi is the most powerful possible way to scale damage (not counting niche builds)
3)reflect being removed

With abyss jewels and removal of reflect it was super predictable inquisitor would be stupid strong. before, people on hc had to get vp or be very careful and there was a concrete downside

Now, there is no real downside to stacking crit multi
