I don't see how.

Dyadus was a key part of the build, there's no other weapon that doubles your damage as far as I know.

Does The Consuming Dark compare to Dyadus? I have one from an 0old Essence Drain/Contagion build from several years back. So far is ding well. How much does Dyadus post-nerf Still worth the currency (I'm a peasant)?

Initially the guide used old Dyadus (that would apply 100% increased burning damage taken to enemies) to get the maximum out of scorching ray + ignite. Since that item has been changed long since, the interaction the build was based upon is gone. Doable anyway, of course, just lost the uniqueness.
