Hey, just wanted to drop by with a quick update. I got to 90 on the build, and it feels very comfortable. Damage is great in red maps! I don't know if you pointed it out earlier, but trying to craft Minion life on gloves works pretty well with essences, and scales the build decently.
Still trying to work out which minions to complement the skeles though. MI really makes it hard to keep anything up, zombs are a hassle and spectres aren't great without +spectre gear. Have you considered using Animated Guardian for the build? I thought it might incorporate well with added damage% and curse auras, but I've never used them before and was wondering if you'd tried them. Also, wanted to post gear as a quick update. Thanks again for pointing out how good shaper helms are on this build! I am curious, though; I've been using the From Dust jewel, and so far have been avoiding the Alberon's Warpath boots. Fixes all my res's, i'm 27 overcapped on all res, and my chaos res is currently 27%. Might try to get some chaos res on jewels instead of straight up damage ones. So now I'm 72, 5,140 life, 1,016 mana, 530 es = 6.6k eHP. I'm going to opt for the mana nodes behind MoM also, and I should get about 7.2k eHP by level 73. You could definitely do animate guardian in this build, but you'd HAVE to use lens, it would die otherwise.
It might be worthwhile to buy a few Earendal's and double corrupt them when you can, the mods can definitely be worthwhile. Same with Sidhe's, getting a +1 to curse on it is very nice. Just a reminder +1 to level of minion is a base 20% damage increase. a 50% to minion damage or 50% to minion life might not be, depending on how high you've scaled your damage or life, which is important to be aware of. A +2 to level gem would be a 44% damage boost. Which is why +2 level on helm is usually more important, and also why a level 4-5 (73-107% damage boost) empower would outright stronger than any other support gem you can get. |

" Swapped to zombies+AG, AG works well one a 2l, and the bonus move speed from Victario's Flight is a good QoL. Nearby allies do 33% increased dmg too, and i've been running around red maps and havent seen his health dip at all. EDIT - Put the AG on your weapon for quick swapping on and off. Mine got one shot by final red elder explosion, but I would have been able to keep about 4c worth of uniques on him if I double tapped weapon swap. Good call on the AG.
Got leer cast, dying breath, victario's flight, and Ambu's Charge on him atm, and yeah I'll swap him out when I go in breaches/bosses that hit hard until he's higher level (he's just a baby!) Hit 76 today and decided to grab a better rolled chest have a go at it. Hit 6s in about 20jew, but took ~150fus to hit 5L ;( Oh well, great damage upgrade! 🎆🎆 www.youtube.com/c/Ahfack

Gruthkul's Pelt is also a fantastic option for your AGs survivability. You lose out on random endurance charge generation, but persistent 2% life Regen coupled by with the chest's monstrous health make your AG that much more tanky.
