Kay's Summoner Memorial Page | New Guide is linked inside!

Hi ppl, I'm having a lot fun with the build, it's my first time with a summoner.

The interaction between EB and MoM is pretty cool, can't believe I've never thought about it before. The problem is I'm having a lot of trouble in stacking enough ES for MoM to work properly, what would you guys recommend I do? The only slot I'm not happy with are my gloves, but it seems RS are too good to pass on, so I would be stuck with Grip of the Council there... Should I dump my shield? Or the body armor?

I type a long post about how to hack pob for Redemption Sentry, but the forum doesn't like the post and cut my post in half
The dev branch on the PathOfBuildingCommunity fork has them added. Should be able to just copy their spectre files till they add a new release.

https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/commit/f3873f67fdf45aa595da07109936ab8a301d0444

It also has Baranite Thaumaturge.
is the PoH version stronger still than the normal +1 wand with RS?
Just went through all the acts using the starter guide. Thanks!

Thank you!

But I noticed something strange in their data.

They put in:
"

[4] = { 75, 200, 26, baseMultiplier = 0.75, levelRequirement = 84, statInterpolation = { 1, 2, 1, }, },

But on the poedb it says:

"
Deals 101% of Damage

So I changed it to :

baseMultiplier = 1.01

And these are the number I see in PoB!

not-so-great.
there are better spectres with better base damage with same attack pattern and some good AOE.

Kay it's almost 24hours since your post about "new video" :-/

what kind of spectre would you recommend? a good average between bossing and mapping..

Yeah, I noticed that too. That's mined straight from the files. You can see it matches the spectre spreadsheet value:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12y6-oojO6uFwOrYalUkN2vXBMpQJl4qjK6NhSq3KWjE/edit#gid=1360520415&range=Q866

I'm guessing that's the spectre damage multiplier they were talking about in the patch notes: "Several Spectres that were dealing damage far above others have been toned down. We're looking at you, Atlas Influence monsters."

That's only a guess though, the column heading in the raw data (took me forever to track down) is just "DamageMultiplier".

If you look at EVF, it has a 1.5 damage multiplier but still lists as "101% Damage" on poedb.tw (if my guess is right that it's a spectre modifier then it's probably to make up for the fact that they're slow as molasses).

Even if it's not, that damage multiplier has nothing to do with the "101% Damage" seen on poedb.tw

-- Below is a more in depth explanation of where the 101% came from.

Spoiler
After digging around in the spreadsheet (the hidden ones with the raw data on the Spectre Data for 3.10.0.f) and playing around in PoB I think that 101% has to with the level scaling (it's from the sheet named "GrantedEffectsPerLevel"). Many of the monster skills have various skill levels.

There's a stat called "active_skill_damage_+%_final" and in the case of both the RS Default Attack and EVF Elemental hit, they both look roughly like this:
Skill Level 1 is Required level 1 with active_skill_damage_+%_final 0
2 is level 20 with 0
3 is level 21 with 1
4 is level 84 with 200

So that means no bonus damage upto level 20. 1% (hence 101% since it's additive) at level 21 upto 200% (so 300% total) at level 84. That's roughly 3% per level. You'll note on both EVF's Elemental Hit and RS's Default Attack that when they're level 84 (gem level 26) that they both have a 200% more modifier. At gem level 25 it's 197%.

What does all this have to do with what poedb.tw is showing? Well since all the level options displayed by are above level 21 and below level 84, it uses skill level 3 with no stepwise scaling resulting in 101%.

If you look at Weathered Watchman, we can see this matches up:
Skill Level 1 is Required level 1 with active_skill_damage_+%_final -30
2 is level 40 with -35
3 is level 80 with -40

... with the level 82 being 60% and the level 49/68/73/78 being 65%.

EDIT: It seems like the abilities that scale to +200% at 84 are all ones that convert 75% damage to elemental (or Elemental Hit). I also found a few that were 50% conversion that only scaled to +110% at 84. This must be to account for the player's growing elemental resistance and so that's why the extra scaling beyond just the monster's weapon damage.

Wanting to give this build a try as an alternative to my zombie build.
In particular the spider version.
Now what would be a good temporary spectre to use before I'm able to get EVF? with that I mean similar, easy to obtain and usable with the same support gems.

Damage multiplier is in the top table on poedb. Before it says life. For EVF and RS, it has "Damage 150%".

I'm still not sure about 75% scaling for the GGG minion nerf because of War Maiden.
GGG created two different skills for spectre and monster, but the RS skill doesn't have a separate one for spectres. poedb would show it.

LegionMotherOfFlamesMagmaOrb
Deals 1980 to 2969 Fire Damage

LegionMotherOfFlamesMagmaOrbSpectre
Deals 1382 to 2074 Fire Damage

https://poedb.tw/us/mon.php?n=Templar+War+Maiden

Anyway, it doesn't really matter! POB numbers are usually bigger than theey are in the game.
