Now as long as you have Grave Intentions they should have full life pretty much all of the time, which results in that gem working very well.

I've run 6 simulacrum maps so far and I've been able consistently complete wave 19 with spiders. I'm at a 50% success rate for wave 20.

Here are several things I did to get more damage/survivability during those fights and some of my thoughts on the fight.

1. I stacked crit damage/chance with Charges, 3x Vicious Bite jewels (2x Megalomaniac) and Assassin's Mark. This gives a 2.3216 damage multiplier.

This does not include Bottled Faith or Kingmaker AG which would scale the damage multiplier all the way to 3.109.

This is a significant investment in terms of gear slots but I think it's the most damage that you can get out of a cluster jewel/curse by a decent margin.

This damage increase does depend on power charges/Assassin's mark to scale crit chance and is reduced on boss fights/without adds. Honestly, it's overkill for anything other than delirium/delve.

2. I allocated Ravenous Horde and Grave Intentions. The EVF spectres get kills with ignites so this will scale their damage in the higher rounds. I did not use an Unending Hunger, although that could be a viable option.

3. I used Breathstealer. The blighted spores provide some damage/utility. The entire fight has tons of mobs and is in an enclosed area so it's very effective.

4. In the final few phases I dump all drops into a temporary tab that I sort later. This allows me to enter the phase with active spiders which significantly increases my initial damage. Without that, I was having some trouble getting initial kills.

5. Rampage can be pretty useful too. I use Bisco's leash.

6. I use both Aspect of the Spider and the Chilling Presence notable from a Megalomaniac jewel. In theory this should significantly slow nearby enemies. It's hard to tell how effective it is though.

7. This isn't exactly something you have control over, but I've found that some town layouts are better than others. I like the ones where this is some open space to maneuver and dislike the ones that are a few narrow corridors. Yes, I'm calling out Act 5.

8. Move the initial portal to someplace with better maneuverability. If the portal is in a dead end during one of the final rounds and a bunch of mobs get stacked there then you will rip all of your remaining portals. Some examples of good locations are in A3 by the Plaza. You can flame dash down to the bottom level. Or, in the A7 upper left since it's not at the end of a kill-corridor.

9. Waves can apply debuffs like hinder/curse on hit. I had a hinder immune jewel and a curse remove flask. I don't think they can silence otherwise that would be a priority


Looking at your items there are a few comments

1. For Awakened Curse on Hit, you only get the extra curse at gem level 5. Getting there is like leveling 9 gems from 19-20. It's going to be a while. When you get the extra curse I suggest using Assassin's Mark since you have charges/Vicious Bite.

2. I recommend the No Witnesses small cluster jewel. The MS/Dodge is just too good for both defense and clear speed.

3. Cinderswallow Urn or +Life on Kill from your chest will give you a lot of sustain.

4. I suggest a Blood of the Karui/Forbidden Taste to improve your life regen from flasks.

5. You do not have a curse immunity flask. When one of the wave mods is that mobs apply a random curse on hit, that is pretty much obligatory. You will get hit and that will kill you.

Thanks for the amazing build!
I have some questions:
Theres any more required item for the spider build ? , I saw only required Arakaali's Dagger, Speaker's Wreath, Victario's Charity

And i see people talk about the 1+ spectre arrmor that is rare as hell
but i got normal arrmor 6L with health and ress , so i only need those three items to let the build work?
And second question :
The spider build survivability is the same as the base build?
And the AG we use it at the base build? cus i dont see u mention it there and in the POB aswell

You can't afford 4 spectres without 2 "+1 to all minions\spell gems" items and lvl21 Raise Spectre gem.
So either you need to use weapon with "+1 to all minions\spell gems" instead of Victario's Charity or +1 Spectre armor.
The build can work with only 3 spectres if you chose some heavy-hitting spectres for bosses. Spiders clear the map without any issues cuz they can't die.

Kay, why don't you use Writhling Jar to summon spiders? With any non-lightning spectres you can use Ball Lightning to kill worms and proc EE without any troubles.
Cyclone-Ball Lightning-Cast While Channeling Support-GMP?
This setup can use EB\MOM, 2 auras and skitterbots with Devouring Diadem.
I've played with spiders and spectres in Blight league but with other build and this thing worked well enough to always have 20 spiders up.

I have playing with RS for a while now and tried a lot of different specters and done all end game and believe them to be the best spectre in POE right now.

I agree with this statement. All 3 of their attacks are affected by projectiles so it's easy adjust gems to it. They got screen shot potentials and 2 of their attacks either pierces or it's an aoe.

Hatred is quite good for spectres and zombies for Elemental Army Support(-10% exposure)

Skitter bots could gives us an option to use hypothermia for dmg on chilled enemies.

And Redemption Sentries AI is so aggressive combine with fast cold projectiles means that nothing could get close to us by being killed quickly or frozen to death.

i have a 3B 3W chest, what are the best support gems for bossing if you are not restricted by colors?

atm i use this and swap lmp for elemental damage with attacks for bosses


is there a better setup for dmg?

( i dont use deathmark with RS as i never have any problems with them not attacking the boss, they seem to have a really big attack range)
