Delve reset in next league

I assume Delve will be part of the core game starting next league.
So will there be a full reset on the mine progress?
Everyone will be forced to do all the upgrades and delving down to umph-thousand AGAIN?

Is the delve map going to get the same treatment as masters from now on,
and reset upon every new league start?

There is a permanent league if you are interested in permanency.

Not so dumb a question if you bother looking at it properly:
There has never been any *never ending* content like this before.

Masters capped at 8 and atlas at 160/challenges T16 and shaper stuff.
The end game was capped.
Now it's not, and the time and effort invested into the delve mine can hit really intense proportions.

This is a question worth asking:

Is it uncalled for to reset such massive work and progress every new league,
and can we find a middle ground to bring some of the old into the new?

Please don't repeat yourselves with some NPC meme knee jerk reply like
"just go play standard". No, because first of all it's endless new content that you can't compare to masters or even the atlas, and secondly that is why it would be uncalled for to force players to sit out new leagues just so they wouldn't have to redo their entire delve mine all over again.

So what's even the problem?
Even if the delve map remains as is, with all the upgrades, so what?
You still have to map at t14-15 to hit the sick sulphure requirements to delve deeper, which requires the same work for everyone since the atlas was resetted.

"But ladder..."
The average player goes depth 200, good ones 400, the best 3000, something you will never ever reach, and they will again in a few weeks just like now, full reset on a fresh league or not; there will be no competition. The same handful of organised 15h a day no lifers will dominate the ladder. Invalid argument.

"But unfair, they got better upgrades than me..."
Another invalid argument.
The gap between no darkness res, light radius and quality of life flare/dynamite upgrades is insignifigent, you catch up in a week, and are stuck with the values you have now since the next tier upgrades are so fuuuucking ridiculously expensive and not needed in the depths that you are doing. It would just inconvenience those like me who don't want to redo all that stuff because we simply don't have that much time to waste and grind, as we already did this league.

"But new players..."
Yeah, if they are new who just start POE next league and have no idea how to delve, they gotta learn by playing it, logical.
It's like you're saying I'm not allowed to play pvp in battlefield as a lvl 50 vs a lvl 5 because I know all the maps and weapons and "that's unfair".
It's not a competition in the same way, nothing is being taken away from new players if old players get to keep their delve progress.

That was one seriously long response from the OP to say "come on, guys, it was a really great question don't be mean!"

But, yeah, everything resets. Generally, most of us enjoy that, that is the whole point. And, as stated, if you DON'T like it, play Standard.

Are you aware the fact that keeping upgrades in delve makes leveling/map progress very... different? Or too easy?
