Problems:
clear speed - its soooooooooo slow. This is spell cascade problem or im mising something?

SC is currently broken. Wait for GGG to fix it (it affects more than just us, there are tons of complaints about it) or clear with a heavily supported WO in a swap staff (5L: WO - CwC - GMP - CP - EL, unlinked EF).

iam using Brinerot Whalers - those boots fit into this build very good. Any reason speaks against that?

ZERO INT. Useless to this build.
allright got it :) I underestimated how INT depandant that build is. Its my first league where i play a caster.

btw got phoenix down with my crappy gear. THanks for the guide
having some issues with mana.. im using the dicipline, herald of ice and artic armour. Im lvl 70 about to switch to CI. I still have the shaper node but is there any nodes I should be getting around now for mana regen? Or do I need to get some on a amulet or something?

Keeping in mind that now we have also regen from ZO and and regen on kill from Occultist Ascendancy and our max lech rate is lower, Kelvynn, do you think a Watcher's Eye with 30% ES recovery with Discipline is a better choice than Es gain on hit with Discipline ?

Es recovery WE is now 2.5 EX just sold the Kaom and i have that currency should i go for it or wait to get more currency for WE with ES gain on hit ?

personally im going with ES on hit for mapping, and that sweet 180% es max leech with zealotry, for bosses, already brouhgt hubris head with 15% reduced zealotry mana res, planing on going with that mana reservation nodes in templar area and go zeal + AA + disci, but thats just a fun side project, killed uber elder with "stock" build settings :)

Sometimes I want to go with the craziest, rarest, most expensive options, but then I remember that I have to stay in the 'everybody can get this' field and keep the build realistic for more than just a few people...

The build I went with last mid-league was a cast on crit ice nova build. It had 200+ pages on the thread in a month. But anyway he put a gear section for "god-tier". Could you add something like this? Gave something to strive for when I got rich in the league :)

Or is there a better witch build to swap into if we have 100+ exalts to burn? Those new soul rend builds look pretty promising.. Its my first league trying a witch so I have no idea haha

You don't need anything for mana regen. You can run out of mana if your WO is high level and linked to some supports, but only if you channel for a while without stopping. This problem disappears after you enchant your boots (doesn't need to be Uber Lab; Merc or even Cruel will do just fine, and you can run them quickly and easily a few times to get the leech enchant).

Or you can avoid linking WO to more than a couple of supports. Or carry a slow acting mana flask (of Staunching or warding). In the 80's you will get some mana regen from the tree again on top of that.

Made a few upgrades, not sure what to upgrade next or what gems to swap out. I'm still having some issues with t4+ maps

its probly channeling without stopping cause im lazy or drunk or both haha. But how does linked supports affect WO mana consumption? Looks like it cost 4 mana no matter the links..

If you look at the gem directly - it only show "base mana consumption". Each support gem, if applicable to winter orb in any way, modify its cost with multiplier stated on support gem. For example, controlled destruction have mana multiplier of 130%.
For example, imagine 5 support gems with multiplier 130%, cost would be: 4*1.3*1.3*1.3*1.3*1.3=14.8
Never underestimate geometric progression :)

Interesting never knew that. Just thought of stuff like that affected mana reservation. Guess its more noticeable in channeling skills?
