[3.8] Relic Hunter (6L holy relic melee necro) End Game viable

Summon Holy Relic is a minion that follows your character very closely and stays within melee range all of the time. It casts a holy nova spell (which is instant) every time you hit with a melee attack (though it has a short cooldown)

Geofri's Legacy allows you to have 2 relics, which means higher damage.

Static strike is linked with increased duration and it lasts for 8 seconds. The lightning bolts will proc the holy novas and clear packs of monsters very efficiently.

Weapons with Minion damage and "Trigger socketed spell when you use a spell" allow you to automatically cast offerings and summon skeletons while attacking.

Put everything together and you get a melee-esque summoner that can deal incredible damage.

**Please note that Conc effect does not show up in Path of Building - I suspect its because the Holy relic itself does not have an AoE tag, however the holy nova spell they cast does have an AoE tag.

This is how I leveled the build:

start with summon raging spirits and then pickup summon skeletons. Get "From Dust" jewel as soon as possible and skeletons will carry you for a long time. At the very least you will pickup melee splash, minion damage, and melee physical.

You can also pickup holy relic, although at low levels it does not do much damage. use static strike and fortify with it. The combination of Holy relic + skeletons + static strike should easily carry you until you can use flame golems.

At 41, pickup 2 Clayshaper's and use
Place flame golem in the helm with lmp or gmp, minion damage,and spell echo or conc effect.

This will compliment the build really well and carry to level 60+

At 62, swap in - you can keep the golems there. It's also a great time to pickup a tabula Rasa if you dont have one yet. Place the relics in the 6L.

I would lose the clayshapers and get minion damage sceptres like:

ideally, you will want to use The Anima Stone so that you have 2 flame golems still.

Keep leveling, and once your relics are high enough level (they scale extremely well with levels) you can slowly phase out the golems.

Work on a rare 6L chest with some life and resists.

The best chest to use is a shaper base with life, +1 active skill gems, and corrupted with +1 skills. If you want pure raw damage at the cost of life and resists, use a +2 skin of the loyal.

indicated additional gem combinations for 6L holy relic. Specifically, ele focus can replace added fire once hatred aura is high enough level/ has enough increased effect. This can affect how you craft your weapons.
