ARE TRADING BOTS ALLOWED IN POE?

ive been trying to buy chromatics for the past 30 mins and almost every person that i have messaged and went to trade with is clearly using a trading bot. How am i not able to right click them and report them for clearly using a trading bot.

No but who cares they make trading currency ACTUALLY BEARABLE.

I'd go with "who cares" on this one too. If you don't want to trade with them... don't. But since no one is actively playing the role of currency exchange, the automated version is serving that purpose. GGG should really be looking at that and thinking why not add it to core.

They are not allowed. However, they could be using a trading macro which are legal and some of them are posted in the forums. Example Lutbot or mercury trade. Also bots are illegal but as long as GGG doesn't catch you using them no consequences.

i found 20 trade botters in 5 mins.

In theory, they are not “allowed”. But they are more then tolerated, because GGCent caved itself into stinking hole with outdated “trade shityfesto”. So now they “can’t” introduce any kind of auction house, because of hurrr, durrr, ugh, economy!! Our, only our, our own, our… precioussssss… So, with AH game would be too easy, and that would be baaaaad, terrible disaster! Because players hate when something is user friendly, can’t stand it. That’s why they released Shitthesis, which is good, look, how everybody rejoicing and hyping!

So, to keep precious economy running they have to tolerate trade bots. If they ban them, economy will collapse right away. Don’t bother with reporting boties. But! If you detect some fun, report it immediately! They will apply proper hotfix as soon as possible, to get rid with it right away!

Trade bots are awesome, don't think anybody who has spent time trading disagrees.
