another sad thing is the way crit works. You will crit all your hits if the skill crits, or you will crit nothing.

I'd rather see a crit per hit, but I guess it's too expensive bandwidth wise.
and the skill already desync like crazy...

Yup but it sucked against large packs.

I considered keeping the CE gem in stash just to switch in for bosses but I'm too lazy and forgetful to keep switching gems in and out.

This skill needs a lot of work before it's worth using.

I took a week or so off from the game so I'd be fresh and ready to rock some Cyclone. I was as disappointed with this as I was with SimCity. I've come to expect better from GGG, and I suspect it won't be long before it gets some love.

From what I can tell by playing with my Cyclone char so far it seems that Cyclone is pretty decent.
However, that's assuming there are no other skills. Unfortunately there are - and they all outclass Cyclone. I want to use Cyclone all the time and I do, but I can't help and think "if I just went cleave or used my leap slam I'd be more effective."

So it does feel a bit lackluster.

My suggestions:
-Remove the minimum travel distance. It doesn't bug me that much but is there any good reason why you would want to keep people from being able to spin in place?
-If you want to keep the damage the way it is, you'll really, really have to increase its aoe reach. It's pathetically short.

just throwing an idea... maybe the skill is only meant for a defensive purpose (which would be a shame).
It's quite effective when you link it with Blind.
But Leap Slam and Whirling Blades are more effective to move away.

Kodr: the leap slam doing much much much much better aoe damage :-D

so it providing better utility and damage :-D What should I choose? :-DDDD
