[3.11]QUEEN OF NECROMANCY - STRONGEST ZOMBIES EVER? 55M+ DPS 7K+ LIFE MAX BLOCK 90% CHAOS RES

Im trying to decide if i should link my gems like this

Zombie + Feeding Frenzy + Awak Minion Dmg + Empower + Awak MS + impale

or

Zombie + Feeding Frenzy + Awak Melee Phys + Empower + Awak MS + Impale

Which would give me more damage.
I just got a Queens Guard, but the wiki says the offering skills are disabled when connected to a channeling skill .

I also have a bell of the beast (both 6 linked).

The Queens Guard seems a bit better, but I am not sure how to use the offering in it that trigger every 5 seconds, or might be disabled via the channeling.

Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks Doc thanks for the quick response on body-blocking. I thought you might be making the case for fewer/stronger zombies vs more (relatively) weaker ones.

Along those lines, are you saying that zombies and vaal skellies do not synergize well because of the same concept? As you know, many died in the wool skelly summoners are loathe to give them up and add them in on boss fights, especially with adds.

So, what is your experience with this? Do 15+ zombies and 40ish skellies really add full dps to each other, or simply get in each others way in most boss fights?

Since the choice is between A Melee Phys and A Minion Damage, Melee Phys is a straight up better gem.

Are you talking about The Queen's Hunger? That puts 2 trigger gems in the same links which disables the trigger. You'll be able to manually cast any linked spells, but the armour's trigger is simply disabled.
Okay...I think I'm done with Amulet crafting for this league. Topping this one will be very hard. Almost mirror tier I'd say. Almost.

2100 STR without Alberons or Greatwolf.

I was thinking that you were very lucky with getting boots from only 3 hunter's orbs. Then you've got 2 fortify weapon in a row from vaal (1:44 chance per weapon, so 1:1936 chance to get what you've got) and now this amulet. I don't even know what to think now. Guess I should congratulate you for crafting all this stuff :)

Hehe. Thanks. I have been very lucky. The double Vaal was like a fluke in the Matrix. Still can't believe that happened. I will probably play something completely different next league, cause getting to this level of min-max again seems hopeless :)

That said, I did take a lot of chances...or let's say calculated risks. I didn't post any of my 50+ craft attempts that had poor outcomes. I learned something though: even the "bad" craft attempts almost always sell for more than the cost of the ingredients. It's almost like the biggest investment is the time you spend in your hideout alteration-spamming. Seems like a lot of people are intimidated by the whole crafting process. It's a shame, cause it can be fun and rewarding. Been thinking about making an educational video to get more people into it.

Yes, crafting amulets is profitable, for sure. It seems that a lot of people do not understand how new crafting stuff works, also the game does not communicate what possible outcomes you can get, etc, so you can almost always sell bad craft at least at the cost of ingredients. I crafted mine until I've got a "good enough" because with my luck it's just a waste of time trying to get better and I don't really need a better amulet now (I'm not even sure if I'll continue playing after I reach 600th depth).
