definitely looks interesting though and i will probably try it out if i decide to roll a necro again next patch. last templar build used a trigger wand and it was a huge QoL.


The budget version of the build has Astramentis and The Baron, plus both strength Jewels.


How is this a budget build for league start?


How do you clear maps with 5 zombies since you can'get enough strength without the items mentioned above, how do you make this work as a league starter, because I'm pretty sure, I won't have enough currency for any of those items till 80s.


I'm not attacking anyone, just to make this clear, I'm certainly curious of how to make this work without those unique items early on, because I would like to play summoner once again after a long time.

Hi, i followed this guide as 1st character (league starter). I didnt play PoE in like 2-3 years so this was my comeback. So concluding: i was like new player, it was my league starter, i had no idea what im doing or what to do since game changed soooo much since last time i played PoE. So yeah its good as league starter even without currency. Just let the army run over the place:)

brunowa, thank you so much for this guide, it made me come back to PoE and have so much fun and learn about this fun game again and I loved it for the 2nd time. Thank you one more time and keep it up! :)

If someone's got a POB for the dual-wand I'll add it to th guide... And crazypearce you kept a POB of your CI build I believe?

I did test dual-wand previously but didn't quite like it... For me personally I run with 8 auras (and love it) so I really need my second 6 link, and I do enjoy the QOL that cyclone brings in certain situations.

I am confused about that as well. Sure makes SSF difficult if The Baron is pretty much required.

My build below with dual wand. This has me at 2980 strength at 99. 21500 ES. Will have 3000 strength at 100. I also keep a very high ES shield and that gets me up to ~26000 ES if I want to sacrifice some DPS for tankiness and it still maintains a level 30 zombie.

It's been a busy league. I've dived into crafting a lot this season and found some pretty lucrative crafts and got insanely lucky with a few. Insanely unlucky with even more.

Below is a more realistic wand that I crafted.



Anybody can craft wands like the above wand (given enough patience and resources) and there are videos on YouTube that show a great 4x fossil craft that blocks a ton of mods and has good results at hitting +1 all spells/all minions.

im seeing alot talking about marveil retainer, but noone here has really done any research about it. I asked this around 100 pages back, but no answer yet. How often does marveil cast curse?
poedb shows, that marveil has many skills. does she cycle them? is this vulnerability usable only on bosses? if she cast vulnerability every 3 seconds or so, then i think its pretty crapy and not worth it at all. bosses die in 3 seconds. And i imagine, its even worse on maps.
if you use curse on hit gloves, you curse bosses more or less inmidiatly and its not totaly useless in maps also. Can some of you guys test, how often does she curse and make research around that?


They pretty much cast it on every new mob without a curse. The curse is at 50% damage increase taken. So about level 49 or 50 vulnerbility.
