would anyone be able to help me figure out why this build doesn't seem to be working for me all that much? I tried to copy it as best I can, but only ended up with about 9.7k ehp, and my zombies take a bit to kill even low tier bosses

The skills that makes this build work are: cyclone - desecrate - spirit offering - Cast While Channeling Your build is not using any of these skills. You are also not using the same ascendancy nodes that this build does. |

" Thank you. When I decided to push for 100, I knew I wanted to increase my defenses while maintaining or possibly increasing my DPS and this build is what what resulted. I played the game like normal from 97-99 and this includes RIP'y maps and the build is what enabled me to do that without worrying too much about deaths. As you can probably tell, the dual wands doesn't really contribute to the defense of the build. That is just a weapon choice. I wanted to omit cyclone because I wasn't a fan of the self-snare and it just felt so unrewarding to channel since unlike regular cyclone builds, the damage was negligible. The dual wands allow for a more passive play style with the trigger. I could switch to a 2H weapon and still have 21 zombies though I am reluctant to give up all that attack speed and the 60% minion movement speed. In addition, the two wands give a level 32 summon zombies, level 29 AG, level 27 carrion golem, and a level 29 summon spectres. This really beefs the minions up and I didn't have to invest extra skill points in minion defenses as a result. Anyhow, now that I am 100 I could probably investigate sacrificing some defense in favor of more offense. I want to keep the strength at 3000 for the 21 zombies but I might be able to invest in more minion damage nodes. I'll play with it and see if I can arrive at anything. The build is pretty tight though to hit 3000 strength. You need tier 1 rolls on basically all attribute increasing items to hit the number. For a speed demon like yourself, I'm sure you could modify it the build to zoom, zoom. Or perhaps, just change your 2H weapon to dual wands on one of your existing speed demon builds and give the trigger a try. |

" Yeah it's awesome, those wands though.... they're insane! There's a couple things I personally would probably do... Which would be sacrificing some strength for more dps and speed. It's about finding the right sweet spot for you. I think something like 15,000 ES would make you immortal enough for pretty much everything but you could test it out and see how comfortable you are. That defence sacrifice could then go into dps and speed (biggest speed boost would be swapping belt out for speed belt). Would be interesting to see how that single swap would affect things for you. " Like the other poster said, you don't need to change any gems in or out to do this in your hideout. Here is the order. 1) swap in mana flask 2) shut off pride aura 3) drink mana flask 4) cyclone once 5) raise 5 zombies 6) repeat 3-5 until all zombies/minions raised 7) swap out mana flask 8) turn pride aura back on Should take under 30 seconds total. |
