I have seen so many people having death issue following the build guide, trust me you are not alone, better start reading those old pages where some player already found adjustment and improvements to this build.
I have done my adjustment and with only 4k life and almost zero es, I never die in aw8 guardian fight
Just purchased a Saqawals, but noticed the speed build really needs that Auls with Pride (28ex atm) for it to shine. And I was super squishy zooming around the map only to get one-shot fairly quick.
Now I am sticking right now to the tankier build. While I farm up for enough currency for Auls, looking for advice on gradual upgrades to transition over to the speed build. I do have an elegant hubris with 160% minion dmg and 80% hp.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
You don't have Pride neither Vaal Haste right now. You should really get Pride (if you need more damage) or Vaal Haste (if damage is ok, and want to clear faster).
I seriously think, that the Aul for Pride is not worth it, unless you have a ton of currency to spend and don't know want to do with it. ~30ex for only ~5% increased damage (movespeed yes, attack speed yes, but sill, if you have near 100% impale chance (easy to get with Rotten Claws Cluster Jewels) it's not a big deal)...

Struggling to cast all the aura's for this build - I know people frequently derp this, but i have lvl 4 Enlighten Support, all 3 reduced mana reserved nodes in Sovereignty cluster, and Champion of the Cause node.
Are we supposed to be using all these aura's at once (for the end game tanky set up):
Aspect of the Avian
Discipline
Purity of Elements
Dread Banner
Flesh and stone
All the top poe.ninja POB's running this build are sitting at -% reserved mana also, so not sure what I am getting so drastically wrong.
Are we just using Vaal Discipline?

Thanks for the quick reply, its a shame I invested most of my currency into a weapon with Aspect of the Avian on, as that is the weapon linked in this build and its POB - would I be better served with a 100% minion damage one then?
Looking at other builds like this Summoner with Pride:

If someone could link me a POB with the right skills enabled that would be great :). I don't think I need a level 4 enlightened support if I am not running Avian either, so I can sell it and invest elsewhere in the build.

People typically put Avian on weapon because there's an open slot for it. Though I personally prefer having +Strength or Atk Spd in that spot instead.
