1. Buy any Warstaff/2H Sword (Itemlevel 68 to 71)
2. Perfect Fossil until u hit 26~28% Quality
3. Orb of Scouring the Weapon

5. 6 Socket and Link it
6. Orb of Alteration it until u hit "+1 to level of socketed Skillgems" and "Minions deal +% increased damage"

13. Menagerie -> craft "Grants Level 20 Aspect of the Avian"

That's what he explained to me and the route i followed. About the Alteration part, i used arround 750 of them to recive my prefixes.. but it was by far the most annoying part.

Basic Weapon: 2c
Fossils: 35c
6 Socket and Link: 250c
Orb of Alteration: 100c (for 1k)
Crafting Costs: 4ex & 8c
Avian: 15c

~8ex 10c was my cost overall for it, but sold my Queens for 4.6ex already. So overall it was 3ex for me. I wish u the best of luck. :)

how do you get Minions deal +% increased damage"
i dont see that as a mod anymore

same question on poedb doesn't show u can get increased minion damage without using fossils or essence??

Under the leveling section we initially took death attunement in the 1-20 section and it stays POE planner linkd until the 81-123 section. In the 81-123 section its gone and other branches have been added for jewels and few other skills.

no, dont to that right now. u will drop that branch when u will anoint ur amulet. but from my point of view, its better to not anoint death attunement via oil. because for this league there are better options which will help u survive at t14-t15 maps.

as for anointment i will go for cleansing thoughts. it doubles ur chaos resist, which in this league can be useful, there are plenty of foes dealing chaos dmg. so im picking 20% from tree, using 30% ring, adding amethyst flask on top for 35%. (20+30+35)x2=170%. chaos resist capped.

A couple of things don't add up for me in this guide:

1. how do you transition from magic to rare keeping the rolls?

2. warstaff/2h sword don't seem to roll minion damage unless you craft/delve/essence

Ok so I solved my chieftain problem. I was massively retarded and didn't pickup some crucial minion life and resistances nodes on the tree *eye roll*.

Anyway, I'm not using Animate Guardian yet as I am levelling the gem still. However, Phoenix takes a millennium to kill and just annihilates all my skeletons and zombies.

Do you guys have any advice? :D

Hey, got a quick question. I am currently using 6L Queens Decree but crafted this staff:



If I multi it with +2 socketed Support gems and Minions deal ~80% dmg (or Minion Attack Speed/Minion Damage) that should be better than the sword, right? -- gonna divine it to +2 Level of Spell Skill Gems of course ;)

At the moment, I feel my Zombies arent doing enough dmg on their own so I still run a 6L (Vaal) Summon Skeleton setup....

I might change to Chaos dmg once I get the right gloves ;)


Also: I see that you switched from Feeding Frenzy to Minion Dmg Support... Do I need the aggressive Minions? Otherwise Minion Dmg Support seems to be the better choice when it comes to raw dmg...

You will get much more dps. Only donwside will be your minion speed.
To get chaos damage you don´t need triad Gloves. Those gloves CONVERT. We can gain as EXTRA 90% with, Withering Touch+Withering Step+Grave Intentions node. And Minion Damage is a must. 50% more damage when put in your 6L.

If there is confusion how to make this kind of a weapon, this is how I did it:

1. Buy 6 link coronal maul base from Poe trade, costs around 15 chaos.
2. Scour it and slap Shrieking Essence of Fears on it(these cost 4 chaos a pop on avg. you can use more expensive ones if you have the currency).
3. After you get +1 to level socketed gems(minion damage is guaranteed) you annul it till you have enough space for 1 prefix and 2 suffix. Note that this is rng and you can brick which means buying more essences. I bricked 4 times before I got it.
4. Simply mastercraft +2support and minion attack/castspeed and you are done.

In total even after getting unlucky I spent around 5-6 ex to craft this(includes 40 chaos tip for crafts).

What about pride or skitterbots? pretty big dps increases.
