Hey Ymath!

I'm glad you're having fun! Thanks!

I was able to take a quick look at you character. I really like what you've done with the tree. Your skills are looking great too! The only issue, isn't really an issue, it's just slightly improving your gear as it drops. First thing is to cap your resists. Fire is still a bit low. Your belt is cool but not needed. So I'd use your belt to make sure you have lots of Over-capped resists. That way it'll let you play with more of your gear to increase your ES on some of your items. Once some of your items are higher with ES and resists, then you can switch your belt back to the Bated. You have some good rolls on your rings too. Rings are another easy way to cap resists. So if you need to, you can always put your rings aside for now, get tons of resists there, switch out your other gear for higher ES and then switch your rings back as you see fit.

Does that help?

Thanks for the reply! Could you elaborate on over capping my resists? is that just to counter curses/map mods that lower resists?

Its going to be hard to give up the belt, It gives me roughly 500 ES, but I will look into it!

Do you think the Obliteration wand is worth keeping for its unique ability or should I just upgrade to something with really high cold damage/dot?

thanks again!

Ya you bet, Ymath!

Over capping your resists simply means to go over the cap of 75% with all your resists. Doing that does two things for you:
- You'll have more resists on maps that lower your resists.
- You'll have freedom when finding new gear to equip new items and not be limited by worrying about your resists as much.

Obliteration has a cool exploding perk, but we already make enemies explode with our ascendancy. I'd suggest using your weapon to increase the damage done by the DOT of vortex so that enemies die faster. It's already a build that needs to have some damage squeezed out of it anyway.

Awesome Tsiganisti!

I'm excited to hear how it goes. Are you doing the guide's version of the build or the listed Pastebin?

Hi good day! I just happened to stumble on your build and it makes me wanna try it lol! Quick question, I'm basically a beginner but i have 2 lvl 80 characters already, I just wanna try new builds for fun, not really end game anything lol. Was wondering if this is somehow viable also with Death's Oath Armor or no? I just wondered since they both utilize CI. Thanks for the input!

Hey Chiquitita95!

I wish I'd be able to say yes, but I don't think this build will work well with Death's Oath. It doesn't revolve around ES regen and the whole build is Cold Damage. You could try replacing the Cold nodes with Chaos or DoT nodes and then simply see how the Degen works with it...but you'd have a crazy time trying to get the coloured sockets you need. Sorry.

If you give this build a shot though, let me know. Thanks for the post.

Hi, first if all thx for the build, I love this "everything you found" approach, so ez builds with no uniques to gate the progress or fun.

I started to follow the pob you posted about the 3.10 and was wondering how to turn on all 3 curses linked with blasphemy and with discipline and malevolence.

I didnt see any mana reservation nodes, it was a mistake or I'm missing something else?

Anyway, continue with your good builds and thx a lot for all the hard work bringing us this fantastic and fun occultist.

Hey Luiz_Rodrigues!

Awesome! I'm glad you like the style. It's what makes this game so appealing to me.

Ya, the PoB doesn't explain anything. The idea is that you can choose which auras to run...but you won't be able to run them all. You just have to choose. I like to run Enfeeble, Temporal Chains, and Discipline while Frostbite gets applied via CwDT. But the idea is that you can switch your auras based on your circumstance (though I never switch).

This Covid stuff has really reduced the amount of free time I have (obviously it's changed many people's lives) so I haven't had the chance to start writing the 3.10 guide yet. Coincidentally though, I've written in my calendar to get started tonight on it :). Even though it's almost the end of 3.10, I still want to get it out so it's easy to edit for 3.11.

I really appreciate your encouragement and kindness. Thank you. I'll post a link to the new guide above the PoB as soon as the new guide is done.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
