While I've been taking some small breaks I've been looking up some of the gear we use for the build and I'm noticing some pretty exorbitant costs. I would love to see some more 'budget' options which are still good for pushing this build and farming currency. I can see some of them (like 6L Unique Chest) are non-negotiable but would love to see some other alternatives.

which one exactly is "exorbitant" cost for you?

Lioneye's Remorse = ~2c
Grip of the Council = ~10c
Essence Worm = ~4c
The Jinxed Juju = ~1c
Circle of Guilt = ~5c
Helmet with Minion Life = ~1c
Wand with +1 Minion Skill Gem = ~60c
The Coming Calamity = ~1c (just socket, color and link them by yourself - cost depends on luck ofc)

The rest of the gear depends on the resistances you need but shouldnt be more than some c too

Only "expensive" items can be the watchers eye with ~ 1-2ex
and the other jewels with 1-4ex, but this depends on daytime and how much are on sale

what are your thoughts on using storm brand instead of ball lightning? the cast time on ball lightning just seems slow

interesting, for me it feels the opposite way. besides that i think ball lightning together with slower projectiles hits alot more targets on the way it is flying, which help in terms of resummon the heralds

What do you think of the Cold Iron Point unique dagger? It gives +3 to all physical spell gems. Herald of Purity has the physical tag so if you dual wield these daggers you get +6 which is pretty massive. Theres a build guide someone else made using a very similar build to yours only they are using Herald of Agony instead.

we would loose alot of defense and hp by dropping the shield and would also loose the free cast for our golem/offering. not a fan of it tbh

Moving on to maps now and have equipped all my items (check out chara Necrodoa on my profile!) but heading off for the night. Seem to have a grasp on how the build is working now, and just have some more shopping to do tomorrow before I move into maps and bossing. Thanks again for the guide. hey, took a short look on your profile and i would suggest to craft the "Trigger a Socketed Spell when you Use a Skill" over the minion attack/cast speed on your wand. without this craft, you have to do the whole cycle by your own :/

and your melee phys dmg and maim are only at lvl 1 capped. your prevent your minions dmg by alot by doing this, you should lvl these gems to max and not prevent them from lvling (maybe you accidently hit right click on them by lvling?)

Anyone who is considering playing this build: do it. It is an absolute treat. I've just cleared been clearing maps and doing bosses and it has been fantastic at trivializing content.
