I can't seem to find a Convoking Wand with those modifiers...

Any replacement I should take (that can also get the cast on skill craft)? Or am I not good at finding items at all?

I would try crafting it. It's actually quite easy to hit a very good budget % minion damage wand. If you want the trifecta - that is extremely difficult and will take time and mats.

I hit this with my very first ever convoking wand with a Wailing Essence of Fear. Granted, the rolls are fairly low but i can do up to T8/T9 maps fairly easily. Minions just die more often that's all and require resummon.

My perspective on the build so far at lvl 74.

I leveled with, how did some one put it, twink leveling gear (Tabula Rasa, Goldrim, etc.,.) and had the currency to buy a Skin of the Loyal with +2 to duration gems and 6% max health, though it had sockets that forced me into Elemental Focus rather than Hypothermia and I'm a little sad about that as I want to see what happens when everything is getting frozen, so I'll have to keep my eye out for a good armor piece that allows me to try out Hypothermia.

The build trivializes most of the Chapter content and I've yet to even use Animate Guardian.

I died twice do to player error. Once was a swipe from Kitava. I was a dolt and didn't dash out of the way and the other I don't recall. To be fair I was still on a Tabula so my defenses outside of resists were subpar.

I then had to figure out how I should move and position while mapping, especially with Delirium content requiring you to step on certain things to activate a bunch of mini-encounters. Popping a quartz and granite flask and dashing around worked pretty well until I got myself caught in a T3 Syndicate research encounter and died, so I had to re-evaluate that method of flitting around and hoping I didn't port myself into something I couldn't handle.

Enter two things. 22% minion move speed mod on a ring and getting trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill on my convoking wand. Those things probably the later more than the former meant my minions are finally consistently faster than me when mapping when Flesh Offering is running, which is whenever there is a patch of corpses to consume due to triggering it via using an active skill. That means I just have to be close enough to drop Bladefall so I can proc EE and be mindful of my weapon count and resummon them as needed.

So far the only real con of the build I can come up with is resummoning animate weapons between major area transitions, going to town, or your hideout is tedious. Though thank you Mesmerization on the suggestion about popping the Enduring mana flask and then summoning them.

Minor details regarding the leveling guide.

First I will say that 99% of what you need to make the build work is in the guide you just have to read the whole thing, so great job there!

I pathed according the first skill tree example I saw rather than the leveling skill tree (my bad, just wanted to point out that the order they show up in the build write up might be confusing to some).

Added Fire and Lightning Damage are generic veiled item drops from Syndicate members, meaning you have to target farm the Syndicate in general to get them or buy veiled items (shields, rings, or quivers) and start unveiling them. It is also a prefix, so you need an open one on the ring you want it on. Generic veiled rings were going for 1-2c a month or so into Delirium league (aka now).

You can search for empty suffixes or prefixes by looking for the following mods on poe's official trade site (may also work on poe.trade, but I haven't tried it).

# Empty Suffix Modifiers

and

# Empty Prefix Modifiers

You can also get Add Elemental Damage to Spells on (in this case it is a Hypnotic Eye Jewel). Learned this by looking through poe.ninja animate weapon necromancer builds. Thank you Diablohot for a visual example of the build that I found helpful. A possible nice thing about this is that it ?is/can be? only one element rather that the two that you get from the veiled modifier.

You can also get Adds Fire Damage to Spells and Attacks via Chernobog's Pillar Ebony Tower Shield, but you have to be lvl 61 and have 159 STR to use it. As a plus it will occasionally Enfeeble mobs you hit with Bladefall, but it doesn't offer the defenses of something like Lioneye's Remorse Pinnacle Tower Shield.

PS thanks for the tip on using an orb of augmentation on a flask you roll the correct suffix on. As many times as I've rolled flasks for a new character I could have occasionally saved myself a lot of orbs of alteration if I had known this. I didn't get the flask I wanted, but the flask I grossed me 50 chaos less the orb of transmutation and the orbs of alteration I put into it. Still a decent gain I believe.

EE makes a glowing animation at the feet of the target. It is hard to see amidst the chaos that is you rolling through a map.

Thanks for making your build available to the public and providng a thorough write up on how to make it operational MoLoK13!

Hello guys!

I'm planning to upgrade my wand to a convoking wand, but what is the most important stats on that i should look for?

Also i had mana issues, so i picked up a lot of mana passives, but i want to get my points back. Anyone has some idea ?

I appreciate any help what should i upgrade... I'm doing great till t12, than it becomes hard to survive especially when im doing deleriums.

I see a lot of people using The Surrender, is it better than Lioneye's?

Good convoking wands are crafted. You can buy +1 all spell and +1 all minion with minion modifiers ... or try crafting yourself I guess. My wand was 7ex.

That shield, you loose about 100 max life, but gain armor. It's something one could try (they go for about 2.5 to 3 ex tho) ...

Doing some experimenting, and I swapped out minion damage for a 21/23 summon phantasm ... it helps with starting maps as the 3 spectres, 2 golems and animate guardian quickly get a couple of kills and I'm up and running with enough army to slowly get the 17 weapons up. Also kinda helps with encounters that last a while where you loose weapons.

They are fully phys, and I think they benefit from just about every node and all linked gem like the AW.

Any good damage calculator for AW though? I would like to see if losing 50% dmg vs. 11 more minions that do dmg is worth it without creating a mad excel contraption myself :)

Mapping wise, the only difficult thing to kill so far, took like 4 - 5 minutes, was a full delirium burial grounds twinned boss + the einhar red beast in the same room ... the 17 AW + 11 phantasms just rip through any other mob.

Hey! Thanks for the build, it's pretty awesome, it was fun to play in this league.

I was wondering about the helmet of the guardian,
https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Crown_of_the_Tyrant seems a pretty good choice, i just have to take care to do Bladefall for bosses from a bit further, also i managed to squize in Avian aspect as third aura, and thought about https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Saqawal%27s_Flock too.

what do you think?

Same for gloves, since monsters get enough chill/freeze, i would rather give him
https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Hrimburn and use Raze and Pillage from my jewel. Can this work?

Posted this earlier, CotT is the bis for me:

Kingmaker (Nearby Allies get Fortify, Culling Strike, 30% increased Item Rarity and 50% crit multiplier)

Gruthkul Pelt (life, cold res, 5% health regen)

Hands of the High Templar (great resistance/life. Also got the elemental weakness enchant on hit)

Crown of the Tyrant (green socket killer dps boost, but forces you to be AoF) +life/resistances
Extra note: don't try it if you aren't AoF, you'll ruin your EE more often than not.

Victaros Flight
I'm the Ps guy: Psomm, Pso, Psong, pso-on and pso-phorth.
