[3.12] Radiating Carrion Golems. 90% resistances + 10-20 Mil DPS

"

tried CI with w/ 90% elem resistance and phys reduction but someone 1 shotted me in grand heist? So I switched back to LL to try if i can fit determination and grace, but cant find the answe for that. ci feels so squishy with 5k es? Or maybe im just doing it wrong?

There isn't an exact formula, tree is fairly set in stone, need to path down to the jewel by charisma, use leap to get charisma and the rmr node, anoint champion of the cause, and make sure you have manually pathed to the rest of the rmr nodes.

After that alpha's howl gives you 8% rmr but you lose a bunch of es as a trade off. The alpha's howl also needs to have an rmr enchantment, looking for 20% reduction enchant. Then your cluster jewels need to be more like the CI setup where you are keeping your aura effect above 300% while still having the rmr notables(or as many as you can fit/need).

I have a bit of a janky setup currently because I got a lvl 23 discipline corruption on my prism guardian and decided to run that over vaal discipline, but I can fit grace and determination with only like 2 rmr abyssal jewels. My ES is a little low(5.5k) but have 12k passive armor and like 21-22k flasked armor as well as 14k evasion with room to grow on both(determination is only lvl 19 right now and grace is 18). Also need to upgrade my gloves + get my last few passive points so figure ill be around 6-6.2K es ~20 million dps.

My next changes will probably be to swap in hungry loop and feed it my zombie gems to free up a bunch of sockets but need to fill out the missing stats from the second vivinsect. At that point 35% aura effect jewels with more rmr notables to hit 300% with all rmr notables and then can fit a few more aura's with more rmr corruption jewels. Don't think I will get that far because it is a massive currency sink but that would be the theoretical upgrade path.

If you want more information start reading back in this thread, I probably read the last 50 pages or so when I started my necro because this is my first time playing one.

Read the last 10 pages at least, there should be plenty.

Suggesting ppl to read the last few pages should be the default answer by now lol.

Ive been helping alot of people transition to CI lately and the majority struggle the 1st couple days until they get the minor intricacies figured out but you definitely DONT switch back to an inferior version b/c of a random death, especially if its in a heist b/c you probally walked right into 50 guards waiting behind a door, an engineering turret, or ground traps.

Your ES should be roughly 7k but as Lisann pointed out a CI 5k ES build is still singnifcantly tankier then a 8k LL build if you are doing it right.

Make sure you have divergent determination and anomalous grace and anomalous purity of fire plus anomalous purity of lightning and your using purity of ice doryanis boots.

You also need different flasks when you go CI, really only 3, anything else is just icing on the cake, get a good move speed flask and then these 2 are the must haves;

While were on the heist topic just be careful with the mods, ive run 65,000 or so at this point and I occasionally miss some too, the -10 or so maximum resistances or -% maximum resistances per alert level can be deadly to any version if guards time you perfectly coming through a door.

Then last thing rq, rather then shield charging directly into things screaming "hey slap my bottom" try using phase run as your movement skill, you will go 98% of your time online without anything even touching you if you set it up properly.

You can test it cheaply, just grab a bricked lv3 enhance and link it to anomalous phase run, set phase run to your left mouse click/movement key and try it out.

Eventually with a lv20 anom. phase run, a lv4 enhance, and +8% quality to socketed gems you can keep phase run up 100% of the time and its insane, that setup also turns your 20% increased minion damage on divergent vitality into 52% increased minion damage, if for whatever reason you dont like phase run just slap divergent clarity in there and youll have two +52% increased damage sources.

Played with my flasks because I was still running the recommended flasks for pre-grace/det and now I am at ~65K armor with flasks up :)

here is my pastebin: https://pastebin.com/RqtxMt9v

8K ES // ~45K dps (4Golems) // 11x Aura incl. Flesh and Stone

I`m happy with this final setup right now. For my Playstyle more then enought defence and damage.

POB on both of these shows x2.93 aura effect. If correct, these should not be followed.
The magic "300%"! So POB (fork) shows no significant dps increase at this magic number. Theres a jump as I think it may reach the next break point for Commander of Darkness. And I am noticing more dps the closer I get to this figure.

Apart from the next breakpoint for Commander of Darkness, what does this do?
