Thats the old system. New system is that its based off gem level of raise spectre. No need to desecrate or resummon. If they die go back to act 2 for carrion and act 7 for host to resummon and they will be at proper level.
You've gone with a hybrid tree so I can see why you are having troubles but I do get that everyone doing the build will go their own way with it. The gear seems to be pretty affordable except the golem jewels and vivinsect rings. Using either rares or The Pariah should be fine though as vitality is now providing so much more regen then last patch. Vertex is also currently expensive so might stick with wrathlord for longer
For myself this character was too similar to what I did last league just a bit buffed so I'm gonna take some time off and think about rolling something new

That's good to know, my spectres only get one shot in extreme Situations, most of the time with too many mobs and the "cannot die" Aura.
Actually i keep the hybrid way, since my gear for pure ES is way too bad. I hope i can fix this soon. I dropped an Exalt yesterday, but i am not sure what to buy with it. I don't want to change it for chaos actually, since the ratio is still rising.
I see you are already running low life, how much ES do you have to this point?
haha yeah same i still running hybrid too, haven transition to full es, i got like 2.3k hp , 2.9k es seems quite squish atm, i think need to cap res and get uber asc(bone barrier)
Aura effect is what make you less squishy, i did go low life at 2.5k ES without a problem and dying rarely. Now i'm doing t12-13 with 4.5k ES with bad gear with a death every 3 or 4 hours. On a 4L also.

Red maps are quite hard without aggressive golems, even with 6k ES - but resistances are only 82-83 now.
I'm using feeding frenzy as one of my links to have aggressive golems until the primordial jewels drop in price, I wonder how long I'll have to wait until I can buy the anima stone for 1ex or less.
In the meantime 3 carrions are enough albeit kinda slow right now.

Damn, you're right! Feeding frenzy is a nice idea to try.
Update: OMG, now I feel so stupid about my thoughts that author's idea to use 3x harmonies is good. Screw this! Aggressive golems add SO MUCH quality of life. Feeding frenzy FTW! And primordial might is important to have.

I wish I had just used feeding frenzy instead of going after primordial might at peak pricing. I feel like I have made a lot of mistakes on my gearing order. This has not been a smooth league starter for me at all, lots of lessons learned the hard way. I have also never had such abysmal luck at a league start with absolutely nothing dropping even though I am farming t14+.
Gonna stick with it because I can see the potential.

Well, my drops are bad too - 0 exalts for 3 days. Thanks to Alva for a mirror shard, got a 6L shavs for it :D
