I'm not really sure where to go from here. I don't have a lot of currency, and I'm stuck. I can't get past 88 because I pretty much die instantly, constantly. I make sure I look at map mods before I start, but it doesn't matter most of the time.

I don't really understand the sense of your question, as the idea of getting +1 Curse chest is to take a 3rd curse. Sure you can make one without Curse, it's likely to be much more cheap. However, Hunter's inf also makes it possible to craft effect of offerings in the Suffix.

I don't really understand the sense of your question, as the idea of getting +1 Curse chest is to take a 3rd curse. Sure you can make one without Curse, it's likely to be much more cheap. However, Hunter's inf also makes it possible to craft effect of offerings in the Suffix.

i was asking about the benefit of having +1 curse on the chest (and therefore +1 spectre/+1 curse) instead of having the AG putting the second curse while having a +1 spectre chest.
I mean it makes the price of the chest (+1curse/+1 spectre) skyrocket while a +1 spectre/offering effect chest is like 30-40ex only

Well, the thing is, I can't really see the sense to buy such chest, as process of its crafting is very straight-forward. It's also easy to make +1 Curse and Effect of Offerings chest. The problem is to find a good suitable base (mine chest was bought as a base with +1 Spectres, t2 Life and 6-link for 19ex after 10 days of livesearching). Your 3rd curse would be Assassin's Mark.

This step is much much harder than it may seem, as the market of chase items is pretty much dead. The base of mine was 19ex (yes, that's a scam, but I've been looking for a base for a week). On the base item you block pref (VERY IMPORTANT) and slam Hunter's ex.

2) Pref cannot and reforge caster (Harvest). This step may either give us +1 curse (weight 250) or spell crit chance in suff (weight 250). Repeat untill successful result or... In the second case there is also a small chance that PoE decides to "reforge" the item, creating once with 3 prefixes, basically adding the 3rd one to our existing ones. Making the piece of armour unusable in further crafting (still would be a really nice one, but not for us).

As far as i tested it on craft of exile, you can brick your basis if a prefix appears at steps 2), its therefore not straight forward. I prefer to spend 80ex rather than crafting.

Also there is no such thing as 3 curses since you can set only 2 curses. Your AG is said to get only +1 curse boots so you both are limited to 2 curses.

You can brick +1 Curse but will still have a decent base, You can also use a 1-prefix, 1-suffix base then you should just "multi", "pref cannot", "suff cannot", reforge caster to get +1 Curse 100%. Talking about 3 curses - player by default has threshold of one. AG has zero. We can increase both thresholds of AG and player independently.
