Any help whould be awsome! Thanks

One solution could be to invest 4 points to get the Armour Mastery node "Determination has 25% increased Mana Reservation Efficiency". See screenshot for location: https://i.imgur.com/zudjDkZ.png
I made the switch to elementalist because our forbidden gems are incredibly cheap (1ex each). Feels pretty good, significantly more durable than necro with more dps. Plus, having a stone golem is just nice QOL.

I remember Dead wrote a post concerning Elementalist, did you get your information from that? Couldn't find infos on the first page.

Do you think there is a special gear-status or some mandatory items needed to switch to elementalist? When I read about it last league it was interesting to me, but I was too poor... ;-)

It's in the "high budget" version of the 3.18 POBs. I just did the swap myself in POB and realized that I gained more damage and more durability, so the decision to switch was an easy one.

Switching to elementalist requires 2 big things, IMO, but DAL might have a different opinion on this:

1. Jewel sockets on your tree. This means levels and 2 cluster jewels.

2. EE, without which switching is NOT a buff to your damage

The other big consideration is the fact that you lose mistress of sacrifice AND commander of darkness. The first is significant if you're using bone armor + high block, which I wasn't. I switched in time with getting my Ashes, so I find myself relatively more tanky during maps than I was previously, but if your goal is to level to 100 I don't think this is the solution.

Finally, losing commander of darkness means capping your res is slightly harder (elementalist gets 18% elemental res) but more importantly, if you're running an AG he loses free 30% elemental resistances. This is something I hadn't even thought about when I switched, and now I'm targeting an explodey chest with extra resistances just to get him capped again.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that I switched away from The Front Line, which saves me a bunch of passive points. I realized after days worth of playtime that I just hate it, watching my buff bar and then watching my cooldowns to know when I get to stop frantically running away from things is just not how my brain works. I'm very comfortable taking the loss in moment-to-moment durability in exchange for more consistent performance. But that's a personal choice.

Ok, thanks for all the information. :-) Currently I'm still in white maps, so it will take some time until I could consider switching to Ele...and to be honest, I don't that I will be able to gain enough Ex to buy an Ashes... xD

You can get them from others too. (global #6666 )
As I haven't found it somewhere, for EE wouldn't we need some form of added elemental damage for BV (light/fire to apply cold-expose)?

Yeah, we need to add flat damage (lightning or Fire).

We have 2 options:
1. Craft add damage (not that add damage to attacks) on Ring or Amulet
2. Enchant on boots (like Deadandlivin did)

I did the second one, because i prefer thant enchant that reduces mana cost.
