The power charges are coming from our first acendancy in the new POB (Forbidden Power). And from the endgame POB they're coming from Assassin's Mark.

i would consider taking it once you have a medium brand cluster with remarkable, until then i will use the attachment range

The life rolls on your gear are a bit low to push much into maps, and always use armor bases where possible (armour/ES for chespiece because colors though)
Getting cold damage helps a lot with defense also which is why I recommend the Mutewinds + Replica Prismweave.

This isn't just you, I'm having the exact same issue and the only fix is toggling after I enter a map. I think using wave of conviction instead to apply the curses might be a better idea for now because I keep forgetting to toggle it.
Edit: I think they hotfixed it, my HoT + Hextouch + Curses works fine now
I don't think it's hotfixed, still not working for me, maybe something else has changed that causes the bug.
