Any worth using ice bite/trinity without mageblood?

Why do you use dmg on full life? awakened lightning pen is like the same dmg but has pen (unless im doing something wrong in pob)

More questions:
Does trinity even work since we do no fire dmg
And why ice bite just to freeze and or add cold dmg?

lightning pen vs damage on full life is roughly equal on pinnacle bosses, damage on full life is significantly better while mapping. In the end though it can often be up to what colors you can get on your replica hyrri's if its corrupted as there are a bunch of supports that are all super close in damage numbers. Trinity is only worth it if you're running serious multiple elements of damage (you only need to do at least two types and have them both be the largest part of the hit potentially but its hard to get it to work reliably without stuff like tri ele weapons) and ice bite is probably not worth it outside of standard builds with +2 power charge rings and crucible passives for another +2 charges because while it adds a fair bit of base damage there are a lot of other ways to add a lot of base damage and you would probably be better off with a more multiplier.

I cannot fathom wth is going on. Please save me, cause this build is quite fun but I do NO dps near to the OG build for mageblood and I die too easy.

I like ice bite because it freezes enemies, it's a great defensive layer

i do not quite understand how he does generate frenzy charges with HH version. can some1 explain? :(
