I did email them, they said the artist would be in touch (think that was around four months ago). I haven't received any newsletters, though if they were sent out en masse then they are probably somewhere in my spam box, I'll go take a look.

Whatever, it isn't important and I'm not complaining that I don't have it, I'm simply making the point that I'm not spending any more until I get what I already paid for. I'd imagine there may be other people in a similar position, it doesn't seem unreasonable.

hmmm .. y'know .. that's around the time that Max left from what I recall. And at the time he was the one doing the avatar art (at least I know he did mine.) So perhaps you just got caught up in bad timing where he stopped doing art, and no one knew to pickup the task of sorting your avatar.

(also as mentioned the newsletters are PM'd to your account here. sorry I should have said that.)

i reckon you should just gently prod them with an email.

If I was rich I'd buy it too.

Actually I think it would be the worst thing to happen. If the game costs 10$, people actually paid for this product, and not only do I think that charging money for a game that is in beta appears really greedy, but people would expect a higher quality the game offers (atm.).

Also I'm pretty sure that a 10$ "entry fee" would actually result in a revenue loss.

Tbh. I don't really get why people would EVER think that GGG is greedy. You get the whole product for free and the only useful thing, stash tabs, is reasonably priced.
Offering one single supporter pack for ridiculous amount of money - like 12,5k - is in my opinion just smart. I guess that they'd sell the same amount of "ruler of wraeclast" packs for $8000, but as I said, for me that's just smart, not greedy.

I work in a popular retail store in a very well off area, and we often have people come in and drop between $15-40,000 on their black cards. It happens.

Yea, everything is relative for each individual.

I used to work in a pub/hotel in a nice area of outer-london. We could quite happily have someone come in and declare the bar covered for the evening on a black Amex. happened maybe 3 times in 2years. some bar tabs would come to £7000+ then food on top.

For me, I've spent $200 so far. That didnt affect me adversely and i don't think thats an outrageous amount of money but some other people, that may seem crazy.

Charan spent a lot of money (imo anyway) because he is in a position to. More power to him. People are always going to be curious as to what someone's job is that allows them to spend such a vast sum of money. Thats where imagination comes in because he doesn't need to clarify at all.

Perhaps Vin Diesel made the switch from wow? :D :D

dont underestimate the stupidy of people ... they would have bought the hundred thousand dollar pack if it were available.
