Doesn't Added Fire and Hatred gain the phys dmg bonus through the bow dmg since it scales off bow phys? Wouldn't this mean both would gain a bigger amount than if it received the 8% proj afterwards compared to the 10% beforehand?
Paper maths 10% phys node 100 dmg * 1.1 phys node = 110dmg 110 * 1.26 (Hatred lvl 1) = 138.6 combined dmg 8% proj node 100 dmg base 100 * 1.26 * 1.08 = 138.08 combined I guess 8% proj is only better if you run both hatred and wrath, but personally I'd run hatred/grace because I'd have mana issues with triple aura (at least early on). Also, ranger requires 4 points commitment for the 3x8% proj nodes (must get acc), this nets 6% per node, whereas the shadow for the same 4 points nets 42% phys roughly 10.5 per node. The 5th node yields are somewhat the same because it's 15% phys to 15% proj (but you get flat life instead of dex). So I guess ultimately it's, how much do you value 20% acc and 20 dex and will you use both hatred and wrath, or do you value 12 flat life and grace more? " yes the 10% IPD is marginally better i said that in the reply Its mostly how much you value a few hundred dps(around 500 with decent endgame gear) over 1 point which could go in something more useful, with the gear i put the difference is 56k dps with ranger and 1 less point spoint and 56.5k with the shadow start and 1 extra point spent. Id much rather have the point since a 1% increase in dps for 1 point is not worth it at all. Crap my bad, I just realised that's your path out of the ranger area.
In that case that's the only choice. What I meant was you could spend 2 points to go out from Finesse and spend the 7 points on other nodes. " Like Avatar of the Hunt or something. You get 11.2 per node (5 nodes), movement speed, and you have another 2 pts which you can use in the Shadow start for better point budget passives. |

I'm looking forward to your updates.
I'm gonna start on Rampage a classic PCrit-SA Ranger on Monday ( also checking Isildox updates ) and I was thinking to use Puncture as single target Skill, since Frenzy has been nerfed pretty bad. Do you have an opinion about it? Thanks for your time, as usual. Later on I'd probably try out your Cycloner on Beyond league ( later, later on.. ). |
