Loving the new updates following in - still using non-crit as I don't have the currency to switch yet but hope to one day :).
One question I do have, was wondering at what point picking up Eldritch Battery becomes viable - is there a certain ES amount? Currently 85, with MoM and 400ish ES. Not sure if its more beneficial to have that switched into Mana (I do occasionally, specially while being wailed on) have Mana issues. Obviously due to lack of Mana Regen, but I don't see you mentioning that while running Grace + Clarity + AA, so I figured it may be time to pick up Eldritch.
Thoughts?
Grab it whenever you're having mana issues, or you can grab it to free up mana potions on your bar
once I Hit a 250 es pool I went for EB
Thanks Pohx and Valarhexile - my only concerns were with if I would be at a disadvantage (survivability-wise) if I was to give up ES. From my understanding; Chaos ignores ES, and (correct me if I am wrong) each hit first clears your ES, then onto HP (in our case MoM takes 30% damage as Mana).
So with the removal of ES into Mana (through EB) as long as I have Mana for MoM to do its magic, I should be at no disadvantage with ES being removed? Though the 70% remaining will eat straight into my HP - I'm just concerned about both sides of the coin :).
Thanks for clearing up the Mana related side!
Maximum mana will go directly to your mana regeneration, that being said, if your mana regen and maximum mana goes up, your survival ability goes up
You can also free up your mana potions on your hotkey bar and replace them with life potions,
You're also to run a higher level artic armor as well
All in all your survival ability should be going WAY up if you're using Eb/MoM combo properly

how do you deal with intelligence?
lv 34 now, surviveability and damage is great but mana seems to be a little problem still.
Can't use any decent wands with spell damage because i don't have nearly enough intelligence?

Hi Phox!
First of all thanks for a GREAT guide!
Im a noob who have been following your guide and succeeded to be a lvl 68 trapper on HC with some awesome damages!
Today I tried "maps" for the first time and got into the "Orchard" map. In the beginning the map was really easy until i came to the boss (Devour-thingy), who almost could 2 shot me!
I think my gear is pretty decent with 75 c,f,l res and 3,1k life - 1,6k mana - 3,5k armor (before auras)
My wish is: Could you make a short description of what maps are easy/hard for a trapper and where people should be careful? It would be an useful add, atleast for noobs like me and maybe safe me from die ;)
Keep up the good work!

Yeah, will work on it, honestly though the only maps it will have trouble with are the general " R.I.P " Boss maps such as orchard, jungle valley, Torture chamber and so on

What i did was to take the +30 int skillpoint early and respec it later when i had enough int. ealy i used EK with beartrap like Phox suggest in the guide and then swap to pure traps later on. :)

you say "Skill Tree Progression I USED ( You do not have to follow this Exactly! )"
how, then, do?
