More Aura Support Gems!
I really don't like the idea of Aura Curse, because it makes the "1 curse limit" boundary very murky. Curses are very powerful and stuff like Aura Curse would possibly be OP, unless reined in very carefully by convoluted rules, and convoluted rules are a drawback.
Curse on Hit should always be a 100% chance to curse, and both levels and quality should increase Curse effect. Substantially. Cast on Melee Kill should just be Cast on Kill, working with any supported Attack, and changed to a green gem. Frankly, every good Cast on Kill opportunity for melee is already present in a more economical form; there is no reason to use Cast on Kill with Detonate Dead when you have Infernal Blow, and there is no reason to use Cast on Kill with Raise Spectre when you have Dominating Blow. Melee already gets those abilities for free, so give archers and wand-slingers a chance to use them, at a cost. Exploding Arrow + Cast on Kill + Detonate Dead actually sounds fun, doesn't it? When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

I don't think aura curse would be more OP than any existing aura. Balance for auras is a function of % reservation and if necessary the % reservation of curse auras could be tweaked.
I think there's potential in the idea of Curse on Hit increasing the effect of curses. Mechanically speaking it would act as a scalar of curses, not unlike allowing an additional separate curse, but your suggestion allows for more precision in balance. I will add though that I don't much care for the curse cap. I think arbitrary caps are generally a ham handed way to balance anything. I have to agree on cast on melee kill. You should post your suggestions in the skills forum if you haven't already, I'm sure Mark would appreciate it. "Curses have a lot more power than auras. For example, 20/20 Enfeeble gives -54% Accuracy, 39% reduced Crit Chance, 39% reduced Crit Multiplier, and 34% less Damage. In order to get the effect of 34% less Physical Damage, you'd need roughly 50% more Armour, so that's already as strong as a maxed Determination; on top of that, it's also equivalent to 117% more Evasion (from the Accuracy reduction), and then on top of that, it reduces elemental damage too, roughly equivalent to +5 to all maximum resistances. Then crit reduction. So, assuming no Iron Reflexes, Enfeeble is stronger than Determination, Grace, and all three max-resistance Purities combined. There is a cap for a damn good reason. Sure, if % reservation tweaks won't cut it then curse auras can have their power diminished by a %. Worst case they can respect the curse cap and there's no problem. If we go with the latter then the value of curse auras can come from increasing curse power in the way you described for CoH.

Instead of Aura cone just make it the searing bond of auras. I like where this is going though. What we need is 1: to be able to make aura's degen like Arctic Armor(and make arctic an aura). 2: Remove AoE for reduced mana or Increased Effect. 3: Aura Relay Totem if the totem is in the AoE of an aura it creates the aura with the same bonuses with same AoE centered on self.
