That is a very interesting question. Not so long ago I was convinced righteous fire casting mechanic would be changed now I'm not so sure. The snapshooting will remain the same as developers have said so in the RF skill feedback thread, which is in fact nothing but logical as the skill is designed to be used that way. It is also the same way auras work, with the exception that you have to recast RF every area change but auras recast themselves.

The other aspect of it, the damage increase, is a bit trickier I guess. I don't know if it will be changed, if it is changed it will definetly impact the damage unless something else is changed too, like spell damage affecting RF. There are always other means to buff damage, like shock stacks or multiple curses, which I don't use at the moment because the damage is ok.
If they do change it I hope they will offer a free respec as I have used many regrets already trying different variations of this build ;)

Looks like a very fun build, but is it at all possible without the unique shield? Im starting from scratch on nemesis and its quite expensive

Curious since I'm not using discharge. Does it do enough damage to take out regular totems? How about that totem boss in the Underwater map?
