0.10.0 patch notes, balance explanations and how microtransactions work
" Still it seems strange to have to come on the website or spend microtransaction point EVERY time i find an upgrade to transfer the effect to. Hmmm...

Would it be possible to update the passive skill tree on the website before the launch? I'd like to plan my build ASAP

" You can buy the reclamation item in advance and probably in bulk. By the way, I'd be interested in feedback on this: Let's imagine two hypothetical examples (the prices here are entirely made up btw). Assume this is for some relatively nice effect. Option 1: The effect is $30 and can be moved freely between items and used on all your characters in all leagues forever with no drawback. Option 2: The effect is $3, and can be removed from an item using something that costs $1 for a single use, or, if purchased in bulk, less. The second option allows far more players to experience the effect and can move it the few times that they'll want to on average. Note that these two options are not mutually exclusive. Also, remember those aren't actually final prices, just round numbers. Lead Developer. I would definitely prefer permanent cosmetic effects, even if they were more expensive. I want Extra Gore, but if it has to be used on a single item, I'm not so sure anymore. I'll be swapping items and gems a lot.
EDIT: When I read that there would be an option to buy Extra Gore, I always imagined it would be a one-time purchase that you could toggle on and off at will without consuming it. It didn't even occur to me that they would be consumable or that they had to be used on specific items or gems until I read it today. Última edição por carkasjak#7673 em 22 de jan. de 2013 22:42:37

" It's on the purchase page: "In the future, we may sell Points in packs with different pricing tiers (for example, an expensive pack that offers more points per dollar, but doesn’t come with all the other perks listed on this page)" Don't worry though, the rate isn't crazy. It's not like someone paying $50 tomorrow is getting masses more points. Lead Developer. Permanent effects without a doubt. It may be situational. Having a choice between one use and permanent effects would be nice. Extra gore is likely the first thing I'm getting as well. :D

" Personally, I'd rather permanent ones that I can apply to all my characters and all my upgrades whenever I find something new to move it to. But $15-30 sounds a little pricy for a weapon effect. I mean, if it was an entire armor set or something, sure. But a particle effect (even if it's one of the nice ones) sounds more like a $10 thing, with a single-use one being $1-2. Since you still only get one of them, correct? It's not like an item you can apply to as many items as you want? So even if you got one for $10, you'd need to get it multiple times for multiple weapons if you want it on all of them at once, correct? (Meaning one is "moveable", not infinitely apply-able to everything you want) I'd rather those kinds of numbers, and both options for people, than higher costs with only one or the other. "I believe you will be able to trade modified items to other characters on your own account, via shared stash. They prevent trading to other accounts to prevent possible pay2win scenarios. Última edição por Wisdom#5474 em 22 de jan. de 2013 22:48:48
