Am I the only one who finds this whole fear of guns / zero tolerance thing hypocrisy considering all the glorifications of streaming shooters/gore games? And guns are legal in the US! (right?)
Yeah, Twitch hosts numerous shooter streams, which are arguably more "harmful" than showing a gun. Even over here in Germany, where we prefer boobs and beer over guns these days, that would hardly raise an eyebrow. It all strikes me as hypocritical.

Not the first time Twitch employees reacted poorly.

Legal to buy and own. But if the cops catch you with one they will confiscate it. Potentially bringing charges of whatever they see fit. When the cops escorted my ex into my home they took my colt 45, ended up doing 3 months because i found it on the street.
After being released, i went and bought an AK-M and a 9 mil... and kept the receipts.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it

America, where you can own as many guns as you like as long as you don't show them on stream.
He should be more careful. He is now on several government watchlist as a suspected terrorist because he had a weapon on a stream while playing a very gory online video game.
Streams are international, though. I'd say a bunch of people from countries where that would be totally unacceptable reported him simultaneously.
I think any streamer knows this was a very bad idea (and a complete violation of twitch policy.)
Was definitely getting the viewers, though. I only clicked on his stream from the main PoE page because I saw the still and thought "What the hell?"
You understand that this game consist of nudity and a mass list of different disturbing human dismemberment's. The Vaal Queen is basically nude and has for breasts only covered by golden nipple jewelry.
In short, the act of playing PoE on stream is much more harsh a reality than the display of a gun not being used for any harm or wrong doing.

Ya, I'm pretty sure if he'd whipped out his junk on stream, it would have also ended in a ban. I don't make the rules. I just know how to read them.

in America, a 5 year old in kindergarten can simply point his fingers like a gun and get arrested and expelled.
