While ball lightning has about 3 seconds of animation, it only hits a target in the first 2 seconds (which means 13 hits on one target per cast max). This is confirmed by a 100% poison on hit build and the golden rule jewel. I hope there would be an official explanation for this mismatch.
I'm missing the super charged balls and lucky hit with lighting ..

Ball lightning of Static really needs a duration tag.
Ball Lightning of Static needs to show in its description the life time, which appears to be just 2 seconds (the skill should be at least 3 seconds and compatible with increased duration)
Ball Lightning of Static needs a 'Duration' tag. It's not just a suggestion, it's currently a bug.

Ball lightning was my favorite skill in Poe 1. I think I like it even better in Poe 2 with one major problem. The numbers seem way too weak. The damage is too low and it’s a bit too small. I still love it, but it’s clearly worse than other lightning spells.
