I have a question i always asked myself since i started my SA + CHAIN build.

I had SLOWER PROJECTILES and a FASTER PROJECTILES , they were both Quality 0% and had same stats.

Slower Projectiles was giving me much more dps than Faster Projectiles , Can someone explain me why ?


Btw im using SP right now for this reason but i dont know if it s a good choice on SA.
So far im using SA + FA + PPAD + AD + CHAIN + SP*

Im still wondering if it s a good choice for 6th gem tho.

If I get Maligaro's I lose two resistances from my current gloves. Should I then just stop using atziri's step and get some dual-res boots with life and mspeed?

Definately a viable 6th link option. You could also opt for WED if you don't like the lower projectile speed. Just see what you like best.

Yes. Capping resists will be nearly impossible (or very expensive) otherwise, without having to take a lot of resists from the tree.

Hi, I'm new to Poe, and i started with this build :)
Here's my gear (Warbands)



I'm sitting at 72lvl,4900 evasion, near capped res ( 75/72/65, -60 chaos :( ), 3666 life.
but i have only 2,4k Tooltip DPS TS, 4k dps with herald and 6 frenzy stacks

I managed to farm around 3 exalted orbs, what should i invest into? I feel like my dmg is very low. I have much trouble comparing which purchase is most crucial :(. Also, i need some guidance what skills should i use beside TS. Right not i using Herald of Ashes ( no supports), and blood rage most of the time.

Thoughts on Hyrri's Ire as a replacement for Lightning Coil (since a 5L LC costs about 10 ex nowadays)? Or would Daresso's Defiance be a better choice? For hardcore.

Both of those offer a great deal of protection: Hyrrie with amazing evasion and added double 10% dodge while Daresso kinda mimics the old days of auto generating Endurance Charges for a CWDT+IC setup (the charges get used for CWDT with a big enough hit before Daresso's Chest triggers) and also gives 6% dodge and half the evasion.

So by using Daresso's you would be safer for spike damage of physical hits, unless you already are casting a lot of self-cast EC, while with Hyrri you get more dodge (4%/10%) and more evasion (1k+).
Overall Daresso's Defiance wins when you look at what usually kills (spike of physical damage) while Hyrri just gives more chance to avoid.

i can't for the life of me find what gem setup you're using for drillneck + 6L

I know pierce goes in there, but what do you replace?

right now with drillneck I'm runnin TS - PTL - GMP - FA - WED - PPAD

I saw in some other spoiler you have ICD and pierce in there instead, do i just CC that setup?
