" You can make 4 links on all items pretty easily. To make 5 links you need to waste a lot of orbs of fusing(actually it's a lottery). Some people waste thousands of fusings to get 6L...or still fail. Some spend 10 fusings and get their 6L----it's random. Other way to make 6L is to use crafting table and pay 1500 fusings to have 100% result. You can laso find an item/buy it on poe.trade/collect divination cards for specific items.
