my question would be if this build works without rathpith globe, as they are pretty expensive (they are around 5-6 ex)? for example with a good rare shield or some other, less expensive unique shield?

if you were doing this on Standard is there anything you would change? I just dont feel like I will need as much life nodes as you have.

Yea, level 3 enlighten and the 4% reduced mana reserved node up by Eldritch Battery
Ideally i'd use a lvl 4 enlighten to save that one point but thats like.. 20exalts versus 4exalts and 1 passive point

I dont know if this question has been answered already or not, but why use slower projectiles when you can use faster projectiles? Get the extra speed as well as the same amount of dmg and 10% cast speed if you have a 20%.
