I hope rerolling that ventor is a joke. It's very nice. I suspect it would be better than Andvarius, but you can check yourself. In the third post of this thread OP has linked a calculator for optimal iiq/iir balance. Just check out both setups, and the higher your C-value is, the better. Besides, Ventor makes gearing a lot easier, if you have some res on it.

I got my +3 bow + carcass + jewelers + 20Q gems.

I got ~16.6k dps with 20 CA, 17/20 RD, 18/20 VM, 2 Emp in a +3 bow with 7 charges up, with fire golem lvl3, not calculating Rallying Cry, Conc., Carcass and I only have single dmg jewels, so it should be ezpz with better jewels, 21 CA, higher Emp etc.

Also carcass doesn't show on tooltip, since its area dmg.

Yeah, I'm at 21.5k tooltip with

charges and all ofc. So those extra levels are worth a lot. Got mostly double dmg jewels but as i understand it area dmg on those doesn't show up in the tooltip either, although it gives the same dmg as proj and chaos dmg increase.

Btw: I took a slightly different route in the Passive tree. I got the chaos dmg nodes left of coordination instead of the projectile dmg nodes left of ballistic mastery. Isn't that the slightly better route, given that chaos dmg and proj dmg give the same increase and you also get 14 life that way?

Because canary goods.. cheep cheep. I picked up the base white 6L off the market for 1.5 ex. Then I spent 7ex and a bunch of smallish change on crafting it.

Technically, the higher aps is nice for cursing / building frenzy charges, but that's pretty minor.

Was wondering why skill tree focus on projectile dmg and no chaos dmg? If both dmg types gives the same increase in dmg, will you consider pick chaos dmg from shadow starting point rather than projectile dmg from ranger starting point?
It's same % dmg (56) but you switch 4% ias for +12 life.

Yes, it's exactly equal except for the life vs IAS. I used the route you describe.
