They only need to make you able to open portals inside and this nightmare is finished.

The goal is apparently to make Lab so terrible you pay to avoid it. Having Portals goes against that design decision.

Sure just TP in and enchant your items while you are at it.

The only literal piece of content that requires you to do any sort of walking or avoiding damage and you guys cry about it.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.
Just do it once aint that bad - its like going to the dentist - rare and painful but you feel better afterwards

Which is why its important that the api pulls actual information, so if you don't want to bother getting messaged you can set /notrade and if you do want to do trade, just keep in mind people won't likely wait for cheaper items.

The trading situation is a problem, and it's a real good argument for at least cross instance trading, but not really a lab problem, the same way lag deaths and disconnecting isn't a lab problem, it's a problem with the game as a whole.

It is sort of annoying that they said they were working on it when the lab was released and there's been no news of it since.

I read this assertion a lot, but I've never found it particularly compelling. Good game design accounts for platform limitations from very early in the design process.

Allow me to provide a lame analogy, because kids have told me that lame analogies are now required for all internet discussions, and I don't want to be left behind:

Remember when portable game systems with passive screens were a thing? The Game Boy, Game Gear, Lynx? (I think the $300 Turbografx portable was the only system of the era which provided an active screen.) Games requiring a great deal of fast scrolling looked like ass on those systems, because they were quite prone to blur. Likely because of this, the games on those systems receiving the most praise upon release, predictably, did not require a great deal of fast scrolling. You didn't hear people of the time saying, "This fast-scrolling game is awesome, and the fact that it looks terrible and I can't see what I am doing in the game is the fault of the system, not the game. I'm sure that one day there will be a new hardware revision rectifying that problem." There was an implicit and shared assumption that a good game works around the limitations of its platform, and I'm quite certain that assumption is just as prevalent in 2017 (VR, anyone?) as it was in 1997.

Now, the additional glorious fuck you provided by the Labyrinth in moments of internet flatulence may not be the Labyrinth's biggest flaw (its obnoxious piñata structure and its lack of per-play randomization, alongside all the horrible ramifications of those two things, hold that honor), it is difficult to argue that the particulars of its design do not shine a great big spotlight upon Path of Exile's pimples. This, my friends, is necessarily the fault of the content itself, no matter how many gallons of Clearasil GGG goes through.
Wash your hands, Exile!

You lose a few points because your analogy didn't mention Hitler, I heard that's a must these days.

(I agree with your points, of course.)
