Was going to try and roll 3 green 2 blue on chest to see about using a different setup, and accidentally rolled 4 green and one blue. Going for Caustic Arrow, Rapid Decay, Void Manipulation, Pierce, and Controlled Destruction. I am just looking to go more ranged than Blade Vortex or Vortex so I dont have to be in the middle of shit, casting super slow...

I wonder if it's worth it to move bv to the bow for the extra clear speed?

" Caustic Arrow's cloud doesn't count as a hit, so it doesn't apply Decay to mobs. Only the arrow itself does. It's not viable. (unless you intend to just gut your damage) El Psy Congroo.

Vortex working great for me on t11-15 maps. One cast of vortex per pack kills pretty much anything including rares. Rogue exiles and bosses are the only things I really ED

" I'm having the exact same experience with T11-13 maps (haven't gotten higher than 13 because of bad luck). Vortex vaporizing everything but bosses. Exiles melt pretty fast too, depending on which one is in there. I even manage to do it with a friend and still do enough damage to melt packs with just Vortex. I did pick up the AoE cluster next to Arcane Focus to help with Vortex coverage. (also using it to path upwards) El Psy Congroo.

I killed all 4 guardians last night but my damage was too low for shaper unfortunately.
For anyone looking to benchmark my ed is at 7.6k and 25k dot. Going to upgrade to 21/20 ed (from 20/20) and level 4 empower (from level 3) and try again. |
