With such a high amount of ES and adjusting some stuff, do you think this could be hc viable? At least the core of the build

You would have to change the tree in general to make it HC viable somewhat especially by taking vaal pact node and also leech node section but I can not see why this would not be HC viable you would just have to move off the glass cannon damage some and make it more viable as a HC character thats all.

I personaly used Barrage, wed , ppad, added fire, phys to light & crit strikes for mapping and for bosses i switched crit strikes for elefocus.
As i said ele focus can be dangerous for mapping if you have bad mods and procupines can deal searious dmg to you. Shattering them is a good way to avoid the spikedmg. Ingame: Snoxz

Can you please clarify one thing for me. I see that you've took the leech nodes at the Duelist section when using a non legacy vessel and you took none with a legacy vessel.
I get the part that you need vaal pact for the non legacy one for instant leech but why do you need additional leech nodes for non legacy vessel. Is it really that much of a difference that it gives only 20% vs 30%? Why can't you just simply abuse the flask leech with both ?
