Hey, i found my first exalt and looking for some upgrades.
What do you think would be the most important?
Belly of the Beast? Lycosidae?

Heres what I would suggest gem wise:

Chest: ST - GMP/SP - WED - Add light - Add cold - Ice Bite (still need confirmation if this is best setup, ele focus would obv be more dmg but dont wanna lose those effects)
Shield: Whirl - FA - Fort (definitely doesnt need reduced mana)
Weapon: HoI - CoH - Ass mark
Gloves: CwDT (1)- IC (1)- Inc dura - Vaal haste
Helm: CwDT (max) - Lightning golem (max) - Ele weakness/Enfeeble (max) - Frost Bomb (max)
Boots: Wrath - Ancestral protector - Flame Dash - whatever, Vaal Grace or Blood Rage for example (all unlinked)

Once you are at a point when your clearspeed is more than fast enough and you are focusing on boss kills more, switch out the HoI - CoH setup for this and let the CwDT setup do the cursing.

Weapon: Wrath - Anc prot - Flame dash (might be a little annoying to color)
Boots: Orb of storms - PCoC - Culling strike - HoI/HoT (unlinked herald probably)

Flame dash with WB because sometimes you want to get across annoying little staircases and shit.

Tell me please, what skills to take in the pantheon?

Could this build be tweaked to work with poison damage rather than elemental?
And by "could" i mean is there a point to trying it, i know anything COULD be done :)

Did anyone test this build as a SSF League starter?

Does it work without "serious pain"? I see no required uniqus/gems

Also the evasion/life left of finesse are better than the ones next to Vaal pact.

Minor things, I know, but still.

Nice catch on the dex thing, I will update this later as well. As for the life/evasion, you can I guess don't think a total or 4% evasion will help much but more is more.

Questions like this are very up to the user. 99% of pantheon points suck. For minor god take yugul, 25% reduced reflect damage taken is huge, everything else is pretty terrible.

For major god, I used to use soul of the brine king. Then it was nerfed a lot, so just read them and take w/e you want.

There's 7 points you can save if you connect to the right of vaal pact. Get rid of everything after Revenge of the hunted. Thinking maybe 'Vitality void' for end game shaper runs and extra damage nodes in other areas. 8% life 20% ele damage vs whatever those 7 points you could fill in with

There is 1 point that was pointed out to me that you can save. The rest I am not sure what you are talking about unless you want to cut some damage nodes out.

The tree was 1 point that I overlooked, hardly call it "sloppy". As for CWDT > IC without any endurance charges its a waste of slots. You want to run it than feel free, not everyone is going to think 100% the same.

As for your setup, this was changed for 3.0. In the last 20 pages of talking about the build, I put that I am NOT doing this build in 3.0 nor will I be able to test gems + links or gear. Rest is up to date. Running curse on hit assassin's mark is not worth it, and I specifically stated that new orb of storms should be orb > pcoc > curse on hit > ele weakness. Also stated that tbh this probably would have been better even in 2.6 than cull + inc aoe.






*NOTE*

Just to throw out guys, I love that build is so popular and so many of you feel so passionate about it, but I am not here to spoon feed you.

- I will not pick gear for you or tell you what to upgrade or what to spend your currency on. Feel free to ask and post in topic, but I am playing a new league, I won't build your character for you.

- This is the build I have set up. If you want to use 2 hand weapons, or want to go for poison or bleed or w/e else you want to well I can't help you. I have never tested it so the answer is I do not know. Obviously if you go from 1 hand claw + shield to a 2 hand sword then the ENTIRE build changes so I would say its probably a bad idea.

- Pantheon powers are literally made to "change on the fly". Now no one does this ever, but still guys come on. Read the powers and pick w/e ones you want. For minor I would definitely suggest the one that gives 25% reduced ele reflect taken (yugul). For Major pick w/e one you think is best.

I don't mind answering questions but please remember I have lot of stuff to do outside of POE and when I am on POE I am playing a different build in 3.0 and enjoying the league. So asking questions that have been answered 1000 times or are right in the guide, or are completely up to the user on what they want to do (like pantheon) I will not continue to take time in answering. Sorry.

I was struggling around act 5-6.
Now im act 8, build is getting stronger.
But still, I dont mind on my gear(trying to get to endgame asap)
Single target its not bad, clearing speed is awesome!

sorry if this was asked before, but what makes you take claw nodes? You are using a dagger, but have claw nodes. this does not make sense
