[3.25]g00fy_goober's EleBuzzsaw Deadeye (Easily Clear All Content) *REVAMPED AGAIN*

Yeah I didn't care about the phys on the jewelery, it just so happened to have the int/resists/life I needed at the time. Thanks for the help though, I'll try to update when I get everything sorted.

e: already running vaal grace and haste :P

Hi,

has anyone tryed this new helm with this build bevore?

Do you know what I should prioritise in improving my build first? im on 10k dps with gmp at my hideout which is so low right now but im still able to clear all yellow maps. I need more dps though

I also only have almost 5k health.

Spoiler

I just recently bought a 5l belly which took a lot of my money away and lowered my dps by 2k but at least i can survive better though.

Its a physical spell if i recall which we do not scale. We also don't need ANY help clearing trash which is what that helm is good for. The healing might be "OK" at best? we get some nice life on hit from certain claws.

Would def rather use rat's, skar, or even devotos.

E: spealing... need more cofeeeeeee

The vinktars is the wrong one, we do not do much phys for it to convert. Added Attacks is best, but $$$, the 20% penetration one is OK to use and cheap. You might be able to by a 20% pen and then sell your current for about the same price? They both are cheap but at work so can't look.

Get some better jewels? Or any at all on the tree?? The one in your belt is basically worthless? Look for attack/claw attacks/life. Blind/Attack Speed on kill/crit are not to shabby either. I def also like having one with xx% increased damage to abyss monsters.

Not at home but should be able to upgrade your claw for fairly cheap? 1.8 attack speed min I woudl say, then highest lightning/cold damage as possible, craftable crit is almost a must have as well if it doesn't have crit.

Shield, if you can, get one similar but with x% increased elemental damage until Lyco.

Belt craft elemental damage with attacks if able via tora for a few alch.

Def look at getting some accuracy on rings/amulet/gives if possible. Similar to the other above your hit chance is incredibly low I would guesstimate. Might be able to craft on gloves I forget?

Rings/amulet try to upgrade some life/rest/accuracy if possible. Then once thats sorted look for/craft lighting damage to attacks or get EDWA.

I'd guess again your missing a ton and not leaching back or surviving on the LGoH from the claw.

Edit: Again at work, but you might be able to sell your belly and BUY an evasion 6l (others might be hard to color?), then use the left over currency to upgrade the rest of your kit. Heck I crafted mine using the residence 6-link armor card, then alt/augment spammed, got lucky on regal. A belly for me is a 450 or so HP upgrade? Fairly large but not game breaking with smart play(tho do explode with not so smart play LOL!) At, ~5.1k HP I think?

Edit2: Look at swapping your Diamond for one of warding. It should have almost 100% uptime, which will make you curse immune.

Triple balancing res's for Wise Oak makes this build 100x better. Thank you for the build.

PS

What is your current hideout tooltip with GMP on ST?

I've been playing POE since Harbinger and reached level 92 with a Marauder totem build. After that I tried a few other melee builds but never completed them. Is it right for me to assume that this build is by no means meant for a player with not that much experience and that has been using mostly Sunder and Ground Slam?
I'm having a very hard time with this build at level 25. First time I struggle at this point (Act 3). I don't understand how it is possible to level with ST. And I'm using a Tabula. The damage is really poor at this point and I am constantly running away.
For someone that never played ST I'm struggling to understand the mechanics. I get that positioning is key here so that when the blades are coming back they would hit the enemy again. But this has already become quite exhausting. Am I missing something or later on it gets easier when the damage is right?
Perhaps ST should not be used before level 60-70?
If not OP, could someone please give some more detailed instructions on the leveling, not assuming that we are all capable of playing this build with merely instructions on what gem links to use.
Thank you!

Positioning means very little honestly. You can check out the videos and see how it runs. Monsters show up, you blast them and they die. There is no mechanic explanation on the skill because in reality there is no mechanics. Just keep attacking till the monsters get blown away.

I'm coming here to ask for guidance. I've read and re-read the main post, but somehow I'm still not sure what I've done wrong. I'm around T7 maps with decent/good gear, but I find myself dying often enough for me to think something is wrong. Same with damage: my gmp waveclear without flasks is, for lack of a better term, lackluster given the currency I've put into my character. With flasks, it's decent but abysses still feel slow with multiple gold mobs.

My hideout gmp damage with wrath/HoI/golem is 20.9k dps, with slower proj being 35.4k.

I'm at the point where I wonder if I should just reroll an new char/refund all.

I can only think I've done something wrong on my end, as nobody else seems to be struggling like myself.

I have two abyss jewels similar to the belt on my tree.

My pastebin for those interested:
https://pastebin.com/kPv9eMTw

e: Some of the jewelry has a lot of int. I was lacking on the tree, until I noticed I missed some of the int nodes. That is something I could change, but would it be enough of a difference? I can't imagine so.

I did not check your tree/passives but 20k dps is pretty low. Right now with mostly 20/20 gems I am sitting at 50k dps and still have a pretty meh claw, one jewel slot left to go and about another 3-4 levels with some other upgrades possible.

The first thing I would suggest 100% is lyco shield. It takes care of all your accuracy issues. Having like a low 80% chance to hit means almost every 5th attack is going to miss. Yes I realize how crazy expensive it got compared to previous leagues but it is well worth the investment and no other options honestly. If you have a 6l belly you should definitely be able to get lyco. As for the rest read the gearing section of guide. Missing a lot of EDWA on gear, your belt is beyond horrible, and claw could definitely need some upgrading. Honestly man for someone who says he has read and re-read guide and can't seem to figure out the problem... but you don't even have the first unique item you should save for and buy to take care of all your accuracy issues. Think you should re read a little more carefully.

Lots of people seem to enjoy lightpoacher but no I would not trade attack speed + massive crit + massive evasion for a skill that helps us with clearing maps, everything dies instantly anyway so whats the point?

Lyco > belly by a big chunk. I would start with getting lyco, then upgrade your gear pieces bit by bit. A lot of your gear is in deperate need of upgrading. More life/res on rares, more dmg on jewelry/belt. Even the 4 stat abyssal jewel you have in belt gives you absolutely nothing cept all res lol.

Wise oak really is not worth anymore since 3.0 nerf. I mean even perfect roll 15% pen would be ok at best. If you go through all the work of matching your resistances I guess it could be prty nice, but that is crazy work/luck and probably pretty damn expensive with really hard to find top end gear with specific resists. Much easier just to rock the atziri's now that we don't use penetration gem.

Right now in hideout with golem/wrath/herald im at 50k dps on GMP
Guess I got really lucky. I was able to get good items and triple balance! :)

Got 23% pen with both of those. its pretty insane.
How does this build work with HOWA in 3.1?
How to get +40% Spectral Throw on helm? Also would abyss jewel that increases dmg recently up kill stats worth it?
