Its overleech from the slayer ascendancy. Leech doesnt stop on full hp.

i leech 68% of my life per second. traps don't do that much damage. also we're immune to bleed while leeching. seems ok man

Any idea on how good this would work as a league starter? I'm interested in a Lacerate build but I'd like to hear from some people who played it how it deals with kinda shitty gear. Does it work and can be upgraded slowly or is it only fully functional when fully geared?

It was my Harbinger starter and I played the build for the full four months of Harby. Lacerate feels horrible when you're level 20 with very little to no attack speed. With multistrike at lvl 38 you're stuck in that attack animation for far too long if that makes sense. It's worth pointing out because leveling with Sunder, on the other hand, is 1,000 times better. Just constantly pick up all the magic 2H weapons and occasionally roll one for attack speed or something with the few alts that you have. Put silvers into the Navali slot machine for extra gear and story mode is super easy with this build. I think my first trade was for a Kondo's Pride and that was after I hit maps and did some chaos recipe within the first weekend.

It's an awesome build. Kaom's Primacy, Hezmana, Kondo's Pride, and other "1c" uniques today are pretty pricey at league start. If you're lucky to have one of those drop early on, then this build's great because you just go with the flow until your end-game Starforge/Disfavor.

Versatility is this build's strength. Not just on weapon/skill choice but in content as well. No need to log in/out for your map character and then swapping for your boss killer. This is both at once. Want to do uber labs today? Same thing: just run this build. Shaper and Guardians? Yep. I couldn't do HoGM, though.
